Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' Bocation Time is a beautiful family home with five bedrooms, three baths, covered porch, deck areas, and ocean views. After your experience on Edisto Island, Bocation Time may become the yearly destination for your family vacation. Bocation Time, with its ocean view, is located second row with beach access just behind the house. Bocation Time is perfectly located just two walkable blocks from famous Whaley’s Bar and Restaurant, one mile from Plantation Golf Course and close to beach access of the Sound side of the island. There you will find the best sunset views on the East Coast. Bocation Time has a spacious floor plan with an expansive living area on the main floor complete with a fully furnished kitchen, dining area, and a full wet bar with ice maker. The large main floor master bedroom includes an en suite master bath, king size bed with walk-in rainfall shower. Two other large main floor bedrooms include one with a queen size bed and one with king size bed. Upstairs includes a large bedroom with king size bed and a dorm room for the kids which can sleep 6\. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out at Bocation Time. Walk outside the main floor level to enjoy the covered porch, then out to an open deck to enjoy the sun, the wind, and the ocean views. The large lower ground level is where the BBQ can take place and the fire pit can warm you up. THINGS TO KNOW The cargo lift is not for guest use. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles. Security camera details: There are 4 cameras at the home. One facing the front door, one on the front stair entry, one underneath the home facing the back stairs, and lastly one located on the back deck facing the stairwell. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. I had to start from my hotel at 3 AM to make it to this location before dawn. Botany Bay Plantation is a nature preserve and has regulated visitor hours. Gates open 30 minutes before sunrise - I wish they'd open a little sooner as the golden hour is pretty much more than half way done by the time one can make it to the beach. Nevertheless, it's a great location to visit at sunrise, especially if there are high clouds to add drama. Recommended to visit when the tide is ebbing as you then get the shadows of the trees, which to my eyes add more depth to the image. On this day, there was a bank of low clouds that prevented too much color but it was a great sunrise to witness nonetheless. The trees have so much character and add so much to the image. The kitchen is well appointed with every space labels! The 5 year old loved the small kid space under the stairway and the bunk room was perfect for the grands to stay together. We used it mainly for the kid-friendly drinks and snacks. Overall, our group would DEFINITELY visit this beautiful home again! We loved our stay! It was hot in the house. The AC obviously needs to be replaced. Know that if you call to report a problem you will NOT speak to anyone local. All calls go to a call center overseas. The lay out of the house was perfect for our size group. Unfortunately we will not rent this house again due to issues with the AC. We had a wonderful family Christmas get-together. The home was very comfortable for our family group....each bedroom was nice and roomy with comfortable beds! Having the two refrigerators was a great bonus. The location and access to the beach was great...also, a nice yard for the kids to play outside! Kitchen was well stocked for our family meals. The kitchen was well stocked from pots/pans to crockpots, silverware, serving trays, coffee makers, toaster, etc. you will not need to bring a thing other than food. We loved the large bedrooms that were spaced out nicely giving everyone privacy when needed, the bathrooms were large and the rain shower was awesome. The kitchen table was ample for our large crew. You could hear the ocean from the back porch and you have 2 public beach access points within steps. Not a great water view (only a very small section from the second floor) but you can be at the ocean in seconds. Would love to stay again! ##### Sandra S. You never hear road traffic and can hear the ocean waves from the back porch, which is shaded after 6:00 pm:) Loved having 2 refrigerators and a small bar area.
