This is a wonderful hotel. Everything was amazing. The staff were kind and incredibly helpful. They have boots “wellies” you can borrow to keep your feet dry during muddy excursions. As well as some really nice umbrellas ‘brollies’ to keep the rain at bay. Even though it’s a little ways away from the castle area of Edinburgh there is a park and ride close by. Uber’s are around 20 pounds each way. The spa was also a wonderful experience. Finally, the food at the hotels restaurant was top notch. We will be back when we are back.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience, the option of using the spar facility a bonus. The breakfast excellent, one of our party was celiac who was perfectly accommodated. All in all a spot on visit.

Had an excellent overnight, every single member of staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was great, really spacious, clean & had everything we needed. The bed was so comfy, we had a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice for the hot options. We came for our wedding menu tasting which was amazing, the food & wine was so good and we were well looked after. Thanks so much, can’t wait to have our big day here & are even more confident our guests will love it too after our experience last night.

Great hotel for family easy reach to Aport /Edin
Fabulous team . Really sincere and helpful A shout out to David, James and the breakfast team :) Great access to the Spa as the pool is perfect depth for beginners . Excellent breakfast . Handy to catch the tram into Edinburgh even offering a shuttle for the short journey to the Tram stop. Would stay again for sure .

Close to the airport but in the country
Choose the hotel because it was close to the airport but in the country. Nice space to end trip. Cozy comfortable. We stayed in a new wong building and it was great. I might opt for a room next time in the older section to have that historical feel. We had rain so didn't get to explore the lovely grounds or spa

Amazing hotel. We have visited a few times and it never fails to disappoint. Excellent food and catering options, relaxing bar and lounge area and the room was lovely and very clean. Enjoyed a walk around the grounds and use of the spa facilities. Great services and will definitely visit again. 5 stars

Slight problem
This hotel is excellent, staff very helpful, room very comfortable, great breakfast in the morning. However, we were in a room next to the lift, whenever the lift went up and down, it made a kind of whooping noise. This meant my sleep was disturbed a couple of times in the early morning, when people used the luft.

Norton House was even better than described. The junior suite had two bathrooms, one with a TV over the tub, daily maid service, and a balcony. Food was spectacular and the service perfect, like living at Downton Abbey. Don't miss the champagne afternoon tea.

Luxurious stay - we didn't want to leave!
This is a beautiful place to stay with luxurious rooms, a fantastic pool / spa / gym and great breakfast. The grounds are beautiful and it's nice to just walk around, imagining you lived in a Downton Abbey-type estate. The kids loved it too.

Lovely hotel close to the airport. I stayed as I was attending a conference on-site. The surroundings are beautiful and there is a modern spa which is nice. My room was in an older part of the hotel which could do with a little TLC but there is also a large new build adjacent. Good hearty Scottish breakfast included.

This is an amazing hotel located on a hill above the airport--but the amazing thing is that you would never know that as it is very pastoral with walking trails and a great beer garden out front. Staff is wonderfully helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant and the scallops were the best we had in our ten days in Scotland. And the next morning it took us under 10 minutes to get to the airport and our flight back to the US. BRAVO!

Very lovely hotel and only ten minutes from the airport. Restaurant was excellent. They upgraded our room for our anniversary at no charge which was pleasantly unexpected.

Very clean and restaurant and bar were very good. Waitresses were very friendly. Front desk could be more welcoming and helpful. Had a hard time getting door open while pulling our luggage. No one appeared to care if we got into the lobby or not. There was not a smile or a welcome from the reception person.Great airport location.
