Posted 22-Oct-2016
Pros: Pool, Restaurant, Lage. Nettes Personal. Alles wunderbar!
Cons: Es gab nichts zu bemängeln! Was soll man da noch mehr schreiben...??
Location: Zwischen Flughafen und City. Zoo ist direkt nebenan!

ideal location for a day out to the zoo

Posted 15-Oct-2016
Pros: nothing to dislike , so everything was good
Cons: cannot fault anything
Location: for us it was only about a full day at Edinburgh Zoo
check in excellent lady on desk very helpful. Room in good order and well furnished clean and tidy. We ate in the bar and food was very reasonable and of a good quality drink was not too expensive . Bar/Waiting staff friendly and helpful . Overall for our first stay at this Hotel i would recommend it , Breakfast has a good choice of cold and hot items and you can even make your own Pancakes . A very pleasant stay thank you

Holiday Inn - Good Job

Posted 07-Oct-2016
Nice experience. Clean room, comfy bed, power shower, great view, lovely breakfast. Didn't realise kids under 16 go free and under 13s get a free breakfast so definitely consider for family away trip

A good base as directly on bus route.

Posted 06-Oct-2016
Location: Bought a family day ticket £8.50 for Lothian buses & trams, great value. Visited the Royal Britannia & Dynamic Earth. Both great days out.
We were a family of 4, the room had a double bed & a sofa with 2 single beds which was ideal but this made the room very tight when set as beds. Bathroom was tired, struggled to start the shower, only advised reception at checkout at we used the pool showers. No biscuits or water supplied in the room or hot chocolate. pool was great, had a nice meal in the restaurant & breakfast had a great choice & always plenty of everything.

Convenient location

Posted 02-Oct-2016
Pros: See above
Location: Easy access to city centre. Obviously right next to the zoo
Stayed for one night whilst attending event at Murrayfield. Frequent buses right outside. Very convenient location to leave the car and take bus to city centre. Walkable distance to Murrayfield too. Good hotel with leisure facilities. Cannot comment on food offer as I ate out. Lovely room if maybe a bit small.

Nice hotel and great service from Hubert

Posted 29-Sep-2016
We stayed for 2 nights, good location with easy transport links to the city centre and main attractions. Hubert provided excellent customer service and made the nicest cocktails we have tasted to date!

Well positioned for Airport, City Centre etc.

Posted 08-Sep-2016
Pros: It's position is ideal for nearby to airport, easy to get to Edinburgh City Centre and motorways to Glasgow, Loch Lomond etc.
Cons: Restaurant Menu bit poor. The room cleaning (bathroom) needs review as not good as would be expected for a 4 star.
Location: The Zoo is about 2 mins walk. Edinburgh is about 4/5 miles away, you can drive or bus from outside the hotel, so, easy reach of main tourist areas.
Overall, it was an ok hotel, not sure it justifies a full 4 star rating though. The restaurant menu was very average and poor value. Breakfasts were good, although it's difficult to go wrong on the usual standards of sausage, bacon, eggs and OJ, croissants, toast etc. The room was comfortable, king size bed, pillows very good. Not convinced the bathroom was cleaned properly as there was dirt under the toilet seat, which we had to clean off and for a room of two people there was one set of towels supplied only I.e none in the bathroom at all, on our third day. Picky possibly, but this is a 4 star hotel, so, attention to detail should be standard. All dealings with staff were very good, helpful and pleasant at all times.

Buena opción para visitar Edimburgo

Posted 06-Sep-2016
El hotel tiene habitaciones amplias y comodas. Se encuentra situado en el recorrido del Airlink 100 (bus aeropuerto) y en la parada de bus del Hotel paran varias lineas que te dejan en el centro en 15 o 20 minutos.
