Very tired hotel

Adequate for a place to sleep but needs a good bit of money spent on it.

Nice hotel really clean

Posted 05-Jun-2017
Pros: The breakfast was good and the service they provided was great
Location: Right by Edinburgh Zoo and the bus stop is right out side the hotel witch take you right to all the attractions
Me and my family really enjoy staying at the holiday inn as a guest you get free use of the swimming pool and gym

Ridiculous

Posted 04-Jun-2017
We arrived at 9 pm leaving to the airport the next morning. After an hour or so we realized the climate control was out of order. There was a service warning light on. The windows couldn't be opened so essentially the three of us could hardly breath. In the morning ( our flight was at 8 so we had to leave early) we noticed the shower was inoperable so we essentially could only wash our faces. When mentioning this on leaving, the response was...'oh'.

Large Hotel on route into Edinburgh

Posted 03-Jun-2017
Pros: Location with a bus stop just outside,
Cons: Cleanliness, attention to detail. Particularly in the dining area.
Location: Its next to the Zoo
I've stayed hear on a number of occasions for work but have noticed that cleanliness and overall standards have slipped, Its a mass market hotel but nothing special. It is handy for both the airport and city centre.

America in the UK

Posted 31-May-2017
We've been visiting the UK from Canada and staying in many hotels. If visitors from US/Canada are looking for what is most "familiar" than this hotel should do it. Great services, good food (they even serve Starbucks in the lobby.) The staff also lent me an adapter from the lost/found box. And it's right next to the zoo. About 10€ taxi to get to the Royal Mile.

We booked the hotel so that we could attend Murrayfield stadium for business. Great location. Helpful staff. The room had a great view. Would stay here again!

Well situated between the airport and city centrr

Posted 06-May-2017
Very clean hotel. Room was large lacking perhaps in a room safe and maybe a small armchair. Breakfast was excellent but overpriced if purchased on the day. The hotel is well situated on a bus route between the airport and city centre. Taxi was cheaper for 4 people though.

Nice and a cheap hotel in a perfect location.

Posted 23-Apr-2017
Happy and helpful staff. Room rates including gym, pool, sauna and jacuzzi facilities - a real value for money. The down side was the bed sheet was not changed for 3 days in a row (it was only straightened up)! The exhaust fan in the bathroom seemed like a 'replica' as it did not work. Normally the light switch should have triggered the fan but that was not the case.

Nice hotel with lovely heated pool

Posted 22-Apr-2017
Was nice for a few days break. Loved the pool and there are some small shops and pubs near by (walk to the right as come out) restaurant and bar in hotel very expensive so didn't not eat in there.
