Only there overnight , very quiet but woken early by ongoing roadworks . Lovely room , comfortable bed , adequate shower. Very convenient for shops , restaurants & bars

I initially picked this hotel, due it being located in Central Station, which made it very easy to get to the Hydro and the shops. The hotel was fabulous. Right from check in, until we picked up our bags (they stored them for us while we wnt shopping) i cannot fault anything. The staff were all very pleasant, helpful and couldnt do enough for us. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Beds were extremely comfy and i loved that there was a safe, iron and ironing board. The chandelier is spectacular and a wonderful centrepiece for this hotel. We will definitely be back.

Attached the to the train station, convenient parking at garage. Staff is very pleasant and knowledgable. Breakfast was great every morning. Streets were a bit dirty and saw a few degens outside, but they never bothered us. Overall, great stay. Would recommend.

Fully renovated, retaining old world charm, rooms and facilities excellent, breakfast catered to all tastes and diets, price reasonable — especially when considering its excellent location in the city. Staff courteous and efficient. Glasgow throbs with party-minded folk on weekends, though they do not appear to intrude on guests seeking a quiet hotel stay. Voco Grand Central Hotel has much to offer.

Few odd things in our stay - the suite room had no chest of drawers for storing clothes, nor did it have a desk (so the kettle was difficult to use as the plugs were high up the wall). Breakfast was very busy with not enough staff serving, so took a long time to get through. Food quality was good. They offer late check out on Sunday (midday) but the room keys stop working at 11, and with only one lift working this added a big delay to check out. Location is great but would look to stay somewhere else next time we visit.

Beautiful hotel next to the Grand Central train station. A bit noisy at night due to the after hours crowd outside. The breakfast is delicious!! Our favorite place to stay in Glasgow.

Had a room on the corner just above the main door. lovely big room. only issue we had was it was very cold in the room but it was bitterly cold outside as well. there were 2 heaters in the cupboard we plugged in then set up the air con to warm and the room was soon warm. breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice on a cold scottish morning. breakfast hall was also pretty cold but again hotel had heaters plugged in. think it may actually had been a combination of freezing temps outside and an actual issue with hotel heating system.

I loved our room in the Voco Hotel. It had an incredible view of Grand Central Station. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was quiet spacious and the shower had great pressure. My only complaint is that at night, while we were trying to sleep, I could hear the people walking in the room above us because the floors were incredibly squeaky. It woke me up I could not fall back asleep because I could hear every step. I would have liked to have given this hotel five stars but that experience feels unacceptable for the money I paid to stay there.
