    Service and Staff
    Property condition

    • Liked: Staff & service, room comfort

Room was small, couldn't stand up properly in bathroom as sloped roof. Roof in bathroom had mould on ceiling. Covers were marked, paper peeling off wall. Really needs done up to warrant the price they are charging. Staff (owners) were a positive part of the stay and the bed was comfy

    • Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities

Bathroom was dirty and toilet seat was broken. No one was around when I went down to tell them so fixed it myself. No compensation offered as staff stated they had to pay Expedia expected commission based on agreed price! They said I shouk stake this up with Expedia not them. For £145 for one night the property was terrible value for money!

    Reasonably Comfortable but could improve

Ok for a business trip. Rooms are smallish and there is not a lot of ventilation, but comfortable enough. We stayed with 2 medium sized dogs and the room was too hot and too small. Also found it strange there was no handsoap in the bathroom to wash your hands with. Had cooked breakfast on one morning but gluten free options were very limited and the price of the breakfast was expensive for 2 rashers of bacon and a very small serving of scrambled egg.

    • Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities

Whole place needs a refit. Carpets worn and ripped. Peeling paint in bathroom towel ring fell off really dirty behind sink. Breakfast room has peeling wallpaper above damaged door frame. Needing some TLC. Best thing about the place was the comfy bed.
