Short 3 day break in Eastbourne. Parking vouchers provided by hotel as no parking facilities for hotel but fortunate to find nearby parking. Good value for money for 2 nights.
Bed's not very comfortable and room very basic. No facilities to put clothes in drawers or shelving. Just hanging facilities. Bathroom door had a chunk missing out of it and gaping hole under the door. Not sound proof room or windows, could hear lots of banging doors from people accessing rooms. Not always ideal with young family.
The breakfast was delicious, couldn't fault the food and a nice variety of continental and cooked breakfast as well as cold meats and pastries. All staff we met were very friendly and welcoming.

The chair seats in the glassed in area off the ground floor bar were torn and in generally bad condition. There was a desk lamp bulb burned out in our room number 109 and not replaced even though a note was left for the cleaners.

Not much point in purchasing a permit for a pound at the Hilton, as near by along seafront you be lucky to get a space best to look along side streets.
Shower had poor water pressure, i should have complained but by the time i realised this, i was unpacked. i do find that mattresses are not overall great, not just here but in general.
otherwise all was fine for me and my daughter.
Well positioned hotel which caters for coach parties, so its full and busy. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel fell down twice for me as its electrics were not good. The first room I was given had no light in the bathroom and in the second, the kettle failed. The staff were all Eastern European and pleasant, but did not really put themselves out very much which was unusual. Not very well run from the top is my opinion.
