3 queens bed was great, breakfast was average good, dry dog food on the floor from previous guest, better vacuuming, cable channels were few, wifi worked for only a few minutes after each log in, quite frustrating
Overall, would stay again
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel everything was nice and clean except the pool was a lil colder then others we have been to. The pool could use a lil work on the bottom floor. Next time we visit Wichita, we are definitely staying in this hotel again
This is an older hotel that has been updated. The rooms are all in "pods" of 12 rooms, 2 stories. They have several different sizes depending on your needs. All have some sort of small kitchen. They have a "cocktail" hour every evening( M-F) for 2 hours for adults. An all guests invited BBQ on Thursday nights by the pool and nice but ordinary breakfast. The hotel has been set up for longer term corp people, but offers nice accommodations for the single or family traveler. It is located in a nicer part of Wichita and very close to many things that might be needed. The only issue I experienced was the updated beds had head boards attached to the walls and they were very squeaky every time you moved. It was doubly annoying from a first floor room hearing the squeak above you. If you a light sleeper, ask for a 2nd floor room...
Breakfast not included but offered at $10.95. VERY unorganized. They need to decide if they're doing a buffet or order off the menu. Most places it works but not here. Buffet was half--they put it on your plate for you & half---u fix ur own. Bread kept sticking & burning in commercial type toaster. No tongs to either serve yourself or free up burning toast. Only one person to put together buffet plates & cook off the menu plates which took forever to get. Skip the breakfast & eat elsewhere.
We were thrilled with our room. Only problem was the clerk had to open our room and we had no key. Also the security lock on the door wasn't set right and the door could be opened with it on! These were major problems. Still we loved the room! Clean, big and comfy. Great price too.

Outdoor recreation is a favorite in East Wichita, which offers golfing, hiking, and camping opportunities. The town is filled with antique stores and specialty boutiques, and a warehouse district provides a variety of multicultural wares.
