Does the basics badly.

A lovely hotel, charming and quaint. However we stayed in room 6 and the mattress was finished, myself and my wife had one of the worst nights sleep we've ever had in a hotel. The water pressure in the shower was also completely inadequate and was at best a dribble, quite how you are supposed to wash long hair I have no idea. Such a shame because it's a lovely building with some epic views out over the marsh's but £140 a night for a knackered, rutted mattress with a mattress topper and a shower that barely washed you is just unacceptable.

Lovely village centre hotel

Perfect for just browsing the shops and art galleries. No worries about car parking. Everything within easy walking distance. Nice pool with spa pool and sauna.

There was a catalogue of things that went wrong with my stay but the team dealt with each issue in a timely and professional manner. One of the big things to note is that there is no longer a gym here, I believe it's being converted into a massage treatment room. The staff were all very lovely and the breakfast was amazing!

Classic luxurious hotel

Posted 21-Jan-2016 on Hotels
This is a classic luxurious hotel with delicate interior decoration. The room is spacious and the room we stayed in has a great view of the meadow and the countryside. The staff are friendly. Location is good, within a few minutes walk from the railway station and main attractions.

Traditional Well located hotel

Posted 23-Aug-2015
Hotel staff helpful friendly and efficient. Low budget room booked at last moment which met expectations. Room 11, is small but perfect for over night stop or visitors without 2 suit cases! The high point; clean & the bed very comfortable. low point; Lack of ventilation-2nd window was sealed. fan that didn't work. Upgrading is recommendable! Would we go back? Yes!

Central Hotel with good facilities

Posted 16-Aug-2015 on Hotels
We just stayed the one night in Rye. The hotel was very easy to find and has ample free parking which is a bonus. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and spacious. Bathroom could have done with a little tlc but purely cosmetic.
