"Lovely hotel, great central location near sea"
The hotel is stunning and such a central location to all your needs. The hotel looks beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful and we could not be in a better place to see all the different aspects of Brighton. So accessible. Rooms were clean and tidy, we had a slight issue with the temperature in our room that the staff rectified straight away. Breakfast was great, so was the service. We love Brighton and would definately use this hotel again and recommend to our family and friends too.

Excellent to get a hotel in Brighton with free parking! Lovely clean and very white hotel interior, friendly staff and very comfortable rooms. The bar staff were outstanding and the cocktails to die for! Being able to sit out on the big boat shaped balcony overlook the marina in the sun was beautiful!

"Well located close to the promenade and bus stops."
My only critique is that the room is too small, although it very well supplied with small items. There is nowhere to put cloths in a reasonably sized draw.A chair would be welcome to eleviate the lack storage space.

"Beautiful Beach"
The Hastings House was very nice, particularly the bathroom. It seems to be newly redecorated. It is close to the beach and other nice areas of St Leonards. Short walk from the rail line (.3mi) But the real gem is Alexandra who was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. There are several good restaurants close by (recommended by Alexandra).

"Lovely hotel in Rye town centre"
Stayed for one night at the George in Rye. Right in the centre of town and convenient for browsing the local shops. Stayed in Room 3 which was absolutely gorgeous. The general décor of the hotel is beautiful and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Had our evening meal there - quite pricey but enjoyable with good service. Breakfast (included in room price) was equally enjoyable but no sign of any toast! I'm sure if we'd asked it would have been provided though. Only downside was no hotel parking, however, you can pull up outside the hotel to drop off your bags and the car park we used at Rope Walk - a short walk away - only charges £1.50 for 24 hours. All in all, if you don't mind paying a little bit more for an overnight stay, this hotel is certainly to be recommended.
