We booked a room for £295 and after checking in noticed there was a half eaten stick of rock left in the duvet cover, loads of rubbish (empty bottles, cups, chewing gum and shells) were left on the external window ledge, the carpet was filthy, the Windows were held closed by two screws which were still sticking out (and very dangerous), the construction work was incomplete, bathroom sealant was not finished, tape and jointing was incomplete, plastering was incomplete, and painting was incomplete.
When I complained to one of the members of staff she said she will look into it. Didn't take my details, didn't call a manager, just fobbed me off.
This was the day after my wedding and was supposed to be one of the best weekends of my life.
I would not expect such poor treatment at such high prices.
I am very disappointed and will be writing a letter to the CEO to let him know how his company is been run.
