I found that this B&B is a totally the Best I have stayed in to date, such a lovely room, and having breakfast looking out on to the well kept garden awesome. Breakfast a delight 10 out 10 Sorry Cannot fault it
Had booked two rooms - on booking in rooms were next to each other - at other hotels when have done this have ended up on different floors. Friendly staff also arranged rooms so could be interconnecting - brilliant - thanks staff for thinking ahead
We have stayed here before so we were prepared to park a distance from the hotel. This time our rooms were in the main building. Small rooms but adequate. There is a lack of drawer space. There were large cobwebs on the pelmets, but this was put right immediately after we told Reception,
My husband and myself had a wonderful time staying at The Grand Hotel. We spent 3 nights. The only criticism I have is the bed could have been a bit bigger, it was meant to be a double but seemed a bit small for a double.. The staff were excellent could not do enough for you. We had a lovely afternoon ...
Great location, only a short walk from the Lanes and almost on the seafront. A friendly welcome (with complimentary cake!), comfortable room with spotless modern bathroom, and a great spread for breakfast (continental as advertised, but a very large selection). Would definitely stay here again.
The staff were very welcoming and extremely hospitable. The breakfast bread, jams and orange juice were all homemade, nice touch!
Holidaymakers and business travellers are increasingly concerned about the impact they have on the environment, whether that's the carbon footprint their chosen mode of transport leaves, or the consumption of energy in their accommodation. One way to ensure your trip - whether for business or pleasure - is more environmentally friendly is to choose a green, sustainable hotel in East Sussex as part of your itinerary.
Sustainable hotels in East Sussex are awarded that title on the basis of their green credentials. This usually means they have been awarded a Green Tourism certificate and can cover a range of practices including using produce only from sustainable, ethical sources, keeping energy consumption levels as low as possible without compromising your comfort, using renewable energy supplies, and recycling as much waste as possible.
The practices used by green hotels in East Sussex will never impact on your stay. For instance, some hotels use energy efficient laundry practices simply by not washing towels every day unless guests ask them to, while double and triple glazed windows and thermostatic controls on radiators will actually help make your room even more comfortable without having to turn the thermostat up. This gives you the best of both worlds - fantastic accommodation and a guilt-free holiday!
There are green hotels dotted across the county so it is possible for you to find a hotel you love whether you want to stay in the bustling centre of a seaside resort town to explore the bars and restaurants, or out in a rural village or country club for some well-deserved peace and quiet (and maybe a round of golf). Whether you're an urban explorer or a country soul, there's a sustainable hotel to suit you nestled away in the region.
Sustainable hotels in East Sussex allows customers with environmental concerns to indulge in an enjoyable seaside or country break without worrying about their carbon footprint. No matter if it's a family holiday, a romantic getaway or a business trip, there's a green hotel in East Sussex just waiting for you to discover its charms.
