Where to start upon arrival I went to the desk the lady said she had trouble finding me on the system which I thought was odd because I had proof that I booked through Expedia and anyway... She got the manager over he also said that I'm not on the system and that they are fully booked and said that Expedia failed to inform them of my booking...and tried to turn me away even though I'd paid for the night. He didn't seem to care. He tried to turn me away from the hotel and I said look if you turn me away I'm going to be on the street tonight because all my money has gone on this hotel room. So what did he do he put me in a dirty spare room I couldn't use the bathroom that was attached because it had crap in there that he couldn't be bothered to move.it .. on top of that I had a dirty bed with pubic hairs in it. He just didn't seem to care one bit that he downgraded me even though I paid the same as everyone else I think it's absolutely terrible service and I can see that he's done this to other people. It shouldn't be allowed. When I returned home I tried to get a refund from both the hotel and Expedia I won't be using either service ever again. I never got my refund and nobody admitted to being at fault. I paid £70 for one night to be told that I couldn't stay there and when I basically begged he put me in a dirty room. You tell me if that's worth £70!
