Perfect for our minimoon

Posted 22-Oct-2016
Pros: Lovely decor and the cocktail bar
Cons: No elevator
Location: Walking distance to the Brighton Pier and shops, but a bit far from the train station
We are very glad we booked into the Drakes for our minimoon at Brighton. The decor was beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. Not to mention their quiet bar had a much better atmosphere for us to enjoy their delicious cocktails without booming music or distractions. It is slightly further away from Brighton train station than we anticipated, but the scenic walk to and from the attractions were pleasant. The only thing is we wish there was an elevator as we stayed on the 3rd floor. It does take its toll on you after walking 21000 steps per day! Thank you again to the lovely team at Drakes for your hospitality. We would highly recommend it to couples looking for a quiet and chic boutique hotel for a romantic mini break.

Romantic Night Away

Posted 20-Oct-2016
Location: The location is great! There are several restaurants and shops in walking distance. The Pier is less than a 10 minute walk.
We absolutely loved our stay at Drakes. I surprised my guy with the romantic package of wine, chocolates and a rose. It was set up in the room on arrival. The freestanding bath tub was an excellent touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I liked the lights in the bathroom. The hotel staff was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend Drakes of Brighton.

Amazing Brighton Hotel

Posted 14-Jun-2016 on Hotels
We struck gold with this hotel, for residing in whilst attending the Wildlife festival. I was a little dubious about the shower room/toilet set up, but it works really well. The room was clean and cosy, and the endless supply of water and biscuits was a definite bonus. I will definitely come back to this hotel!!!
