Located on a quiet street within 2 blocks of ocean and loads of shops and cafés. Run by very friendly couple. Excellent breakfast with lots of options.

Nice welcome from Julie and Melina. Very clean guest house with a few nice touches. Comfortable and ideally located for the town centre and sea front. Hope to use again in the future.

Fantastic little place. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast as well. Will definitely be returning. Hosts go above and beyond to make for a wonderful stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this wonderful guest house. The hosts were very friendly, hospitable and helpful. And it was a lovely guest house which is situated very close to the Brighton beach and other amenities. I really enjoyed my stay here. Very highly recommended.

The guesthouse is only a few minutes away from the seaside. It's a lovely building, beautifully kept and nicely furnished. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, the place is quiet and comfortable and the breakfast is a treat. Highly recommended!

Fab Stay
Stayed for one night and it was first class. The whole place is spotless and the hosts are very friendly and hospitable. Bedroom was very tasteful and comfortable with an excellent, freshly cooked breakfast. Parking is available on street and is payable at the guest house. 2mins walk to beach. Was a great location for a gig I attended at patterns which is 5mins away. When staying in Brighton again I will be sure to book and would recommend to anyone considering a stay here.

Lovely guest house. Our room was spacious, with a bow window. Bathroom was small but excellent. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts were friendly and kind. The street was noisy Saturday night, so I would recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Starlings is a lovely comfortable guest house just off the sea front . I had a very warm welcome from Melena and Julie .The house is very clean and comfortable with lovely bedding and white fluffy towels . The breakfast was amazing and cooked fresh to order .would definitely stay there again 😄 Thank you both for everything and all the local information you gave me about Brighton

Julie and Melina were so friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast adapted to suit dietary requirements. They made a social effort to get bread I could eat, reading multiple labels until they bought the right thing. The property is quiet and relaxing with tasteful decor. Close to the seafront and to St James street and a short walk to the centre of Brighton. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I had a lovely weekend stay here. The hosts were very welcoming and helped us out where they could. The room was very cosy and had a comfortable bed. Great location, near the beach and the city centre. We’ll definitely be visiting again

Melina and Julie were wonderful host, as accomadating and helpful as could be! The full english breakfast was Excellent with lots a wonderful fresh fruit! The single room was small, no desk, but a small table for the fan and well stocked tea service, but it have did built in closet with shelves for storage, the bed was very comfortable though. The shower room was tight, but very workable with everything needed supplied and huge cotton bath towel! They supplied a fan for the hot night and helped me out by providing a larger one as it was a very hot night! No common area other than for breakfast is available, but a good location close to everything!

Really nice stay for conference there. The hosts were really friendly to talk to. The English breakfast has been really nice as well. I have got a lucky upgrade to the Standard Double room Ensuite on the Second floor. The overall experience has been really good and I will come back if I am heading back to Brighton!

Clean, comfortable - and that rare thing, an extra blanket in the closet! Lovely hosts who stayed up to welcome me after check-in time. Sadly, I didn't get to eat breakfast, but it smelled delicious! A tiny niggle was the extractor fan in the landing loo one floor below; it seemed to stay on all night.

I really enjoyed my recent stay at Starlings Guest House. It was very convenient to great restaurants and sites in the Brighton area, and Julie and Melina were fabulous hosts. They had very helpful insights on places to eat locally and their input was always spot on. I would definitely go back.

This was a return visit for us as we have enjoyed staying here on a couple of previous occasions. The hosts Melina and Julie are wonderful and welcoming. The guest house is within walking distance to the beach, the lanes, the Palace, BA's i360, and everywhere you want to explore. Breakfast is included and believe me, you won't be left hungry absolutely delicious. Will we stay here again, absolutely.

5 stars for a great B&B and lovely hosts
I stayed at Starlings for a weekend visit to Brighton. Found the place easily, and it is a well-presented and maintained seaside B&B. It had all you would expect and more; clean, comfortable bed, all the en suite facilities you need. And at a very reasonable price. The proprietors make sure you are looked after; show a personal interest in making sure you have a good stay and look after all individual needs (vegan breakfast? No problem).
