"excellent location and amenities, helpful staff"
I booked The Granville for a hen weekend, the rest of the party chose to stay in a chain hotel at twice the cost but myself and my friend decided to shop about as it was for a peak weekend in August and we were on a tight budget. We were more than happy with our stay, the hotel was perfectly located and all of the staff were incredibly helpful throughout the entire stay. The breakfast was fabulous and i will definately be making a return visit to the Granville next time i am planning an overnight stay in Brighton, the whole stay was faultless, great hotel, great staff.

The only thing was that the shower was leaking from the tap ends, so we had to have baths instead. Also some of the light bulbs had burnt out. But writing that the rest of our stay was ok. The staff where very helpful.

"Lovely hotel near West Pier and Band Stand"
The hotel was a lovely two night stay, which isn't too far from the attractions, such as the West Pier, Band Stand, and the i360! When me and my boyfriend turned up at the hotel, we were welcomed by a lovely receptionist, but I didn't manage to catch her name. She was very helpful and patient, as I accidentally made an error in my booking and she helped me correct it and even gave me a complimentary upgrade, and we can't thank her enough for starting our stay off so pleasantly. The 'premier' room was lovely and we even had a balcony! We definitely felt like we got more than our moneys worth as we got complimentary drinks and toiletries, as well as bathrobes and slippers. On departure, the staff efficiently checked us out and also asked if they could book us a taxi before we asked, so the staff really helped to make our stay a very enjoyable and stress-free time.

"Excellent location, attractive 3* rating Hotel."
Professional service ,excellent food .a character hotel in an ideal location.Only issues were that the room, although sea view, was restricted in size and limited access to balcony and beach. The bathroom was dated and the shower badly requires re grouting -black mold to base and edges. However cleaning of room not to blame or staff. Fair value only for the price.

"Very pleasant stay. "
The owner was very friendly and we had a very relaxing stay. The food was good, especially the breakfast. Bewl water is not very far and we had a very pleasant walk cross country to the reservoir, although because it had been raining it was muddy in places. The village of Wadhurst has some very individual shops and tearooms and Tunbridge Wells is about a 20 minute drive away.

"Good value and great location"
Just off the tourist part of town a great base for exploring, but not swimming with hoards of people. Comfortable rooms, very clean, and the reception staff could not have been nicer. Breakfast fine. Parking is limited, but that's Rye for you, that said, we were early enough for a spot but worth bearing in mind, get there early. Would stay again and perhaps try the restaurant, which we didn't on this occasion.

Pocket Guide: Conference Centre Hotels in East Sussex

If you're organising a conference, networking event or perhaps your company's annual meeting, a conference centre hotel in East Sussex is ideal. These hotels can be found throughout the area in the major coastal towns to the south of the region, and further north where they have access to the motorways leading to the capital.

What to Expect from an East Sussex Conference Centre Hotel

As well as all of the usual amenities such as clean, comfortable en-suite bedrooms, a great bar and restaurant and free Wi-Fi, conference centre hotels in East Sussex will also have a suite of meeting rooms for large business events.

Often, the hotel will be able to provide things such as projectors and flip boards so that you don't have to bring your own, and most can supply catered meals and tea and coffee throughout the day so that you are able to offer your delegates refreshments to keep them focused!

What to Consider When Choosing a Conference Centre Hotel

As well as the conference facilities themselves, organisers need to take into account other factors for the convenience of themselves and their delegates. For instance, on-site parking is desirable so that conference participants do not have to hunt for a space nearby. If your conference will continue for a few days, ample accommodation is also a must so delegates have the opportunity to stay on-site.

If there is to be a conference meal, a hotel with facilities for large dinners is also something to consider, as is location. If you have guests or speakers travelling a long way to your conference, choosing a hotel in a busy location with plenty to see and do during 'downtime' is also a worthwhile consideration.

Conference centre hotels in East Sussex offer a range of facilities to suit different requirements and budgets, all depending on your business needs. All of them, however, offer pristine accommodation for the comfort of delegates and speakers, great food and drink as well as a choice of fantastic locations. Whatever you need from your conference, there's an option for you.
