"Overpriced but ok"
A platinum suite at £175 a night should be perfect. This was ok, room clean but small and dominated by a tv. Some broken blinds, wrong sized lightbulbs, rickety wardrobe and shower but no bath. The bed was comfortable enough but the room was chilly. Check in was ok, we didn't stay for breakfast so cannot comment. The location is very good which is what we must have paid all that money for.

"Excellent guest house close to the sea front"
Check-in cheerful, speedy and efficient. Being shown to and into my room was a nice touch I wasn't expecting. Kudos to the lovely foreign brunette lady - thanks for that! (I'd name her if I could) The guest house is located within a 5-10 mins stroll from the sea front and a view of the pier, which is only a little further away. I don't know if it's commonplace in the area, but I found at least one nearby restaurant on the sea front road which was open 24 hours a day. Great if you're on a concert trip like me, and feel like a proper meal late at night after the gig has ended. Concert venue 'The Haunt' is also only a short walk away. Room-wise I don't have too many requirements. My double room was more than everything I needed. Not huge but not tiny either...just right for me. Clean and comfortable throughout. In-room tea and coffee facilities and a working telly are always handy. Unlike some establishments, the free in-room wi-fi was very fast for any normal usage. i.e. checking email, streaming video smoothly with no lag. All in all, everything worked just fine. Check-out was also just a matter of handing in the key, before a roughly thirty minute walk to Brighton railway station. (depending on how fast you walk and how much luggage you have)

"Lovely clean and spacious room, everything that yo"
A spacious comfy room, large shower. Nice polite staff, good key card security. Big telly and remote in the room, wardrobes and dressing table with pen and paper! I never heard anything from the adjoining rooms, or the ones above, but I did come back a little bit "messy". Best bit of all,… was a small kettle and coffee stuff right next to the bed! Fab! Cashpoint two doors away.

"A lovely experience"
We enjoyed our stay here during our short break in Brighton. The guest house is well modernised in its look and we'll looked after. The staff here were so friendly and very willing to help. The room although small (which we knew beforehand) was well presented and we enjoyed the little touches such as the marshmallows for hot chocolate, the bottled water etc. Our only two criticisms of our stay were: 1. the room got too hot. 2. the view from our window - a concrete jungle look along with pigeons and their previously digested meals. Going back to the positives, breakfast was a real highlight for us. There is a great choice of cooked dishes from the traditional English, to pancakes and bacon, to a chefs special, to porridge. The quality of the food was fantastic with the guest house boasting that they use local ingredients which showed. There was a lovely young waitress who was only too happy to look after us during breakfast bringing us teas, coffees and serving us our food. We were very pleased with our stay overall and would definitely stay again if ever back in the area.

"independant hotel in a great location!"
The Charm is a lovely independent hotel close by to the beach, pier and only about a 20 minute walk to the lanes. Staff were lovely and very helpful, they kept our heavy bags there as Expedia told us the check in was at 2 pm but it was actually 3pm so we didn't have to carry them! Me and my boyfriend had room 24 on the top floor, a compact double, it was fine for what we needed as we were out all day every day anyway. However there is alot of stairs and is very hot on the top floor so keep that in mind. Additionally as one wall was at a sharp angle it was easy to knock your head and it has alot of marks were other people have scratched it. Also the bathroom had a sliding door which did not close properly therefore didn't lock. The bed was slightly small but still comfy, there was a fan provided which we appreciated and the breakfast included was very impressive! i would definitely recommend this to others.

Pocket Guide: Casino Hotels in East Sussex

Casino hotels in East Sussex are conveniently located within a short distance of the region's top casinos - particularly in Brighton, where there are three major casinos along the seafront. The casino hotels are ideal for groups or couples looking to try their hand at roulette, poker or blackjack during their trip to East Sussex and perhaps strike it lucky!

    Casinos in East Sussex

East Sussex casino hotels have three top casinos nearby. Rendezvous and Grosvenor are both open 24 hours, while Genting is open from 2pm until the early hours of the morning.

All three offer a range of tables and games where you can enjoy a flutter and try your luck, while indulging in some refreshments from their bars. They're ideal for couples wanting something a bit different for a night out, or stag parties looking for an evening's entertainment - particularly as some of the casinos offer the opportunity to book your group into a poker party. After you've had a fun night and, hopefully, collected your winnings, you can retire to your casino hotel, just a stone's throw away.

Other Things to Do near East Sussex Casino Hotels

If you're planning a night of gambling, you may want to consider some of the other evening attractions of East Sussex. The area is full of amazing restaurants that are perfect for large parties, and there is an array of trendy bars and pubs.

If you're looking for something to occupy your daytime hours, your group could try one of the local go karting centres or even paintballing. If you're looking for something a little more genteel, you and your friends could try your hand at clay pigeon shooting, before heading back to your casino hotel to get ready for a night at the poker table.

Casino hotel breaks are a fun way to spend your time in East Sussex, particularly if you're organising a group trip perhaps for a stag do, a special birthday or even a works event. The hotels have all the facilities you would expect and are within easy distance of the three local casinos.
