Hotel close to beach Imperial is a convenient hotel at a reasonable price. It does need modernising. The bed was very comfortable but it was difficult to work an under powered shower and bath. The room lacked sound proofing but overall we enjoyed our stay. Parking, as always, was a nightmare.

The staff were fantastic so helpful It was a good experience and the hotel room had a great view of the pier and was pleasant and cosy. The carpet could do with a clean and the shower was with little water in the morning. Apparently 3 people reported the shower but the lady on reception did not seem to call in a plumber.

Lovely staff, lovely grounds We were visiting a local vineyard for a tour and decided to stay over too. The hotel had pre-warned us that a wedding would be taking place on that night and that it might be noisy. We really appreciated the heads up. Reception gave us lots of suggestions for where we could go out to eat for the ...

Functional hotel on seafront Reasonable hotel close for Brighton. Our room was noisy from lift shaft & doors etc but clean and functional. Bed too soft & springy indeed, but still slept. Staff very polite.

Seafront hotel - good value for sea-view room Stayed in a lovely bay-windowed sea-view room. Hotel looks a little tired on the outside and the room was a bit dated, but large & clean. Staff very welcoming & helpful. Good bar & breakfast. Overall a good stay in great location.

Reasonable hotel for an overnight or short break We used The Forge as an overnight stop whilst touring the area. The location was quiet despite being on a main junction and the rooms had adequate, clean and spacious facilities but they could do with some further enhancement/updating for our taste. We visited the Buxted Inn for our evening meal ...

Traveler Great location and perfect for the traveler. However considering the price of the hotel, the parking fee (from the lot adjacent to the hotel) should have been discounted. Rooms were a little small.

Good location, opposite the beach Hotel is located in a very good location with a short walk to the Old Town. It was convenient. Located on busy road opposite the beach. Facilities were acceptable, although walls are thin so you have noise from neighbour rooms, outside and above/below. Overall was good value for money

Pocket Guide: Business Hotels in East Sussex

If you're organising a conference, networking event or perhaps your company's annual meeting, a conference centre hotel in East Sussex is ideal. These hotels can be found throughout the area in the major coastal towns to the south of the region, and further north where they have access to the motorways leading to the capital.

What to Expect from an East Sussex Conference Centre Hotel

As well as all of the usual amenities such as clean, comfortable en-suite bedrooms, a great bar and restaurant and free Wi-Fi, conference centre hotels in East Sussex will also have a suite of meeting rooms for large business events.

Often, the hotel will be able to provide things such as projectors and flip boards so that you don't have to bring your own, and most can supply catered meals and tea and coffee throughout the day so that you are able to offer your delegates refreshments to keep them focused!

What to Consider When Choosing a Conference Centre Hotel

As well as the conference facilities themselves, organisers need to take into account other factors for the convenience of themselves and their delegates. For instance, on-site parking is desirable so that conference participants do not have to hunt for a space nearby. If your conference will continue for a few days, ample accommodation is also a must so delegates have the opportunity to stay on-site.

If there is to be a conference meal, a hotel with facilities for large dinners is also something to consider, as is location. If you have guests or speakers travelling a long way to your conference, choosing a hotel in a busy location with plenty to see and do during 'downtime' is also a worthwhile consideration.

Conference centre hotels in East Sussex offer a range of facilities to suit different requirements and budgets, all depending on your business needs. All of them, however, offer pristine accommodation for the comfort of delegates and speakers, great food and drink as well as a choice of fantastic locations. Whatever you need from your conference, there's an option for you.
