Quiet, clean, close to the beach

Posted 24-Jul-2016
Pros: Good location for the beach/shops. Clean and quiet hotel.
Cons: Maybe a mini fridge/cooler for the rooms? But i'm just nitpicking
Location: Beach very close by, Waitrose/Sainsburys within a few mins walk, resturants/bars/pubs all nearby, 10-15min walk to Odeon
For a single occupant the room was of a decent size, as was the bed. Everything was clean and in good condition, i particularly liked the shower- nice n powerful. Provided in the room was an iron and kettle, along with a nice selection of teas as well as the usual bathroom toiletries you'd expect. There was a small alcove in the corner that acted as a sort of open wardrobe with a hanging rail. There was a shared balcony with chairs and tables, which got a fair bit of direct sunlight in the afternoon. Hotel was close to the beach, literally about a minute or twos walk, close enough you can see it from the balcony. There's also a nice large lawn area out front if you'd rather sunbathe on grass than on pebbles. Most of the other people staying seemed to be middle aged or older and there aren't any clubs close-by, so things were quiet at night. Staff were polite and helpful, they even set out some free cake one morning for guests to help themselves to.

Nice comfy hotel, near the beach front.

Friendly staff from the moment I checked I till I checked out. The breakfast was the best I have had. There were great selections of cereal, cold meat, cheeses and pastry. I ate so much I did not eat lunch. Location was perfect as its two minutes walk to the beach front where you can explore. Great value for money. Highly recommend!

Wonderful!

Posted 19-Jul-2016
Pros: Location to the conference at the Hilton Metropole. Location close to brighton seafront near all attractions.
Cons: Perhaps offer a full English breakfast. But really very little at all, the breakfast otherwise was superb.
Location: Check attractions along Brighton seafront. It is very close by (~50 meters).
Fantastic place to stay and highly recommended. Staff were attentive, courteous and caring. Room was small (expected) but a reasonable size for the price in Brighton. Overall would definitely visit again.

Beautifully restored regency house

Posted 03-Jul-2016
Pros: Very stylish, attention to detail, friendly, helpful, delicious fresh breakfast - really nice not to have the smell of frying in a dining room.
Cons: It probably can't be helped but the wall was very thin in Room 37 so I heard every word of a long conversation about the football next door.
Really loved the Brighton House Hotel. Good location, sea view, very pleasant natural vibe.

Friendly bed & breakfast!

Posted 06-Jun-2016
We had a lovely weekend here at Brighton B&B! The staff were very accommodating to our delayed train & subsequent late check in. The daily breakfast buffet is simply devine & very friendly service. The stairs can be a bit of a killer but a good workout! Only downside is it can be a bit noisy outside on the streets but earplugs would fix this. Highly recommend Brighton B&B!

Perfect for a Brighton visit

Posted 30-May-2016
Pros: Coziness, location, quietness
Cons: It's not for people who need an elevator! I was on the top (5th) floor, so I got a lot of exercise.
The location is unbeatable, and the proprietors are super friendly in a low key way. The breakfast (much of it homemade) is tasty and substantial enough to last you until dinnertime should you choose.

Some Niggles But Great Over All

Posted 27-Apr-2016 on Hotels
A great B&B, good location easy to get to the pier as well as the shops, bus stop 5min walk away (Stop Clarence Square) though train station only a 10-15min walk I had luggage so took the bus as close as possible. Nice extra touches, free cupcakes in lobby, fruit in room, though this was not replenished. I was on the top floor, so about 5 flights of narrow stairs, as other reviews have noted. It's do-able if you're fit, though you may struggle with heavy luggage, and won't want to be going up/down them all the time! Bathroom was very small, could be a problem getting the bathroom door shut for any tall men, but clean. I had a problem with the toilet only being set to the eco-flush only which just wasn't strong enough. The garden/square outside looks pleasant but youths do seem to congregate there. Windows are not double glazed so was awoken by seagulls/people/traffic. Noisier on weekend nights but the B&B is set back 1 street from the main road so could have been worst. Breakfast dining room doesn't seem to have enough tables for everyone so you may want to get down either before, or after the rush. Over all though, a great place and I would stay again.

Par ferie i perfekte omgivelser

Posted 24-Apr-2016 on Hotels

It's been a real pleasure.
