I only stayed one night and didn't eat in the hotel. But it was clean and smart though a little old fashioned - a typical seaside hotel. Sadly I was on the 3rd floor with the life out of action from the ground to the 1st floor. I was down many corridors so I left my suitcase in the car and just took overnight stuff as I have a bad back. To be fair I was offered help to carry the stuff but I went up the stairs behind an elderly lady who was struggling to manage the stairs to the first floor.

"Seems fine to me"
Quick overnighter. Helpful staff. Didn't try the breakfast or the evening meal. Swimming pool was a bonus. Good location near town. Car parking on local streets a bit hit'n'miss.

"Functional hotel on seafront "
Reasonable hotel close for Brighton. Our room was noisy from lift shaft & doors etc but clean and functional. Bed too soft & springy indeed, but still slept. Staff very polite.
