"Great B&B"
This is a lovely B&B. The hosts were delightful and very hospitable and welcoming. We felt like family right away. The room we had was a bit tight for our needs but it had a lovely view and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good. Wish we had more time to linger in the garden!

"A jewel of a find, with prices to match."
Attention to detail at this b&b is exceptional. The guys who run the Brighton wave our fabulous hosts, very welcoming and can not do enough for you. They have certainly got it right. Ideal location, you can see the sea from the window table at breakfast. The breakfast is outstanding and you certainly don't go away hungry. The bedrooms/bathrooms are very compact but very clean and attention to detail amazing. Beautiful bed linen and gorgeous towels. Ideal location for getting around with a fabulous bus service at the end of the road, which we used a lot as after you find a parking space you need to keep it. Fabulous stay we would love to go back.

"nice hotel. close to beach and town and station."
only problem I personally had was the noise from the 'pesky' sea gulls that kept me awake off and on through out the 2 nights. I expect this happens where ever you are staying.

"Clean, homely B&B in a great location "
8 of us came to Brighton for our friends daughter's graduation at Sussex University. We were looking for a nice place to stay overnight that was not on the expensive side. The Marina House Hotel was clean, cosy, in great location and a good price.

Pocket Guide: Bed and Breakfast Hotels in East Sussex

Staying in a bed and breakfast hotel in East Sussex is the perfect way to have an affordable break either by the sea or in the heart of the countryside. Whether it's an overnight stay, a long weekend or even a week's holiday, a bed and breakfast hotel makes a great base for your break in East Sussex, no matter how you intend to spend your time.

Choosing a Bed And Breakfast Hotel in East Sussex

As the county is home to some of the best known seaside towns in the United Kingdom, it's no surprise that many of the region's bed and breakfast hotels are beside the sea. These are perfect for people who want to enjoy the area's beaches and other amusements, and dine out at some of the great restaurants.

There are more bed and breakfast hotels in the East Sussex countryside, offering rural locations that are idyllic for ramblers, climbers and cyclists looking for a more active holiday exploring the stunning scenery.

What to Expect from an East Sussex Bed and Breakfast Hotel

Particularly popular with couples and young families, a bed and breakfast hotel offers you a clean, comfortable room in which to rest, and a tasty breakfast (usually included in the price) to set you up for the day ahead. Most offer double and twin rooms and several even offer family rooms as well.

Most bed and breakfast hotels offer the usual amenities you'd expect, such as en-suite bathrooms, coffee and tea making facilities and toiletries, but many also have modern offerings such as free Wi-Fi for guests and in-room digital TV and DVD players. This, of course, gives guests more choice when it comes to entertainment and is particularly useful for families with young children.

Bed and breakfast hotels are a great way to enjoy all that East Sussex has to offer, by giving you a great base, delicious breakfast and a choice of top locations. Whether it's a rural retreat or a seaside getaway, a bed and breakfast hotel can help you plan the perfect East Sussex holiday for you and your family.
