A great stay in Brighton for a conference. The location is ideal, close to the beach and to St. James Street. The breakfasts are perfect. My room was quaint - small but a terrific use of space with all you need. High standards of service.

"A warm welcome."
Owners very welcoming. The bedroom and shower were very clean which is always the most important factor for me. The room had everything I needed for my short stay. A decent choice for breakfast was provided and I enjoyed a freshly cooked breakfast. The weather was warm during my stay and a fan had been provided but it wasn't particularly effective. My floorboards squeaked as did those in the room above me. This wasn't a major problem but I did hear the people above me coming in late and it made me conscious of disturbing the guests below me. Liked the location: it was far enough away from the centre not to be too noisy but close enough to walk. Plenty of restaurants and a supermarket were nearby.

Pocket Guide: Bed and Breakfast Hotels in East Sussex

Staying in a bed and breakfast hotel in East Sussex is the perfect way to have an affordable break either by the sea or in the heart of the countryside. Whether it's an overnight stay, a long weekend or even a week's holiday, a bed and breakfast hotel makes a great base for your break in East Sussex, no matter how you intend to spend your time.

Choosing a Bed And Breakfast Hotel in East Sussex

As the county is home to some of the best known seaside towns in the United Kingdom, it's no surprise that many of the region's bed and breakfast hotels are beside the sea. These are perfect for people who want to enjoy the area's beaches and other amusements, and dine out at some of the great restaurants.

There are more bed and breakfast hotels in the East Sussex countryside, offering rural locations that are idyllic for ramblers, climbers and cyclists looking for a more active holiday exploring the stunning scenery.

What to Expect from an East Sussex Bed and Breakfast Hotel

Particularly popular with couples and young families, a bed and breakfast hotel offers you a clean, comfortable room in which to rest, and a tasty breakfast (usually included in the price) to set you up for the day ahead. Most offer double and twin rooms and several even offer family rooms as well.

Most bed and breakfast hotels offer the usual amenities you'd expect, such as en-suite bathrooms, coffee and tea making facilities and toiletries, but many also have modern offerings such as free Wi-Fi for guests and in-room digital TV and DVD players. This, of course, gives guests more choice when it comes to entertainment and is particularly useful for families with young children.

Bed and breakfast hotels are a great way to enjoy all that East Sussex has to offer, by giving you a great base, delicious breakfast and a choice of top locations. Whether it's a rural retreat or a seaside getaway, a bed and breakfast hotel can help you plan the perfect East Sussex holiday for you and your family.
