Good hotel in convenient location

Pros: Good breakfast, friendly helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing apart from the weather!
Location: There for a dinner event at the Guildhall.
Located by the marina and about 10 min walk from the Guildhall this was well located for an event in the Guildhall. Staff very very friendly and helpful.

Good hotel overlooking the Marina

Pros: Good views of the Marina
Location: Good location
Enjoyable stay-good size twin room with good views from the balcony. Breakfast brilliant Only downside was that they put us in a room which had equipment for disabled people.

Nice hotel close to marina and town centre

Pros: Location, comfortable roomDedicated function rooms, wedding parties filled all communal areas
Cons: Could do with a refurbishment, a bit dated and shabby
Location: Great location near marina bars and restaurants and easy walk to town centre
Much better than I expected from hotel of this type

My reservation was made for business travel. Parking arrangements are unusual but fine. There is a £5 parking fee between Tuesday and Sunday if I am right, however it should be calculated, included in the price / night. Overall experience is nice, staff is well trained and very friendly and professional. There should be an improvement on the room decoration (colour choice and lighting). Regarding the hotel is close the main road it can be a little bit noisy but still OK. I will choose this hotel again if I am in the neighbourhood.

DISAPPOINTING STAY

Pros: Staff apart from management were helpful and friendly.
Cons: Improved management and administration. Inform guests before arrival that basic facilities are out of bounds
Location: Location is good with plenty of restaurants nearby thankfully.
Stayed for two nights, Friday and Saturday. Wedding function on both evenings which used the restaurant and bar so therefore not available for hotel guests. A bar was provided in a function room which unfortunately had local people ?? playing guitars and singing !!! Very disappointing. The room and breakfast had been prepaid with Expedia so only the extras were paid on check out. After our return home we found that our credit card had been charged again for the room and breakfast ( a higher rate than Expedia ) We then attempted to recover the amount taken by telephoning there 0871 number costing 13p per minute which on the first two attempts was not answered and then on the third was left on hold. Finally they agreed to repay the overcharge and said it would take a couple of days ( it did ) I asked if they were compensating for the cost of telephone calls which after consultations with duty managers, general managers etc they agreed and offered £ 3 !!! Surprise, surprise this was not re-imbursed .

Hull stay over

Stayed over after a premiership match and for a birthday. Hotel basic and upgrade to an executive room was basically same facilities in a slightly larger room with a kingsize bed. Fixtures and fittings tatty in places and bathroom dated. Bar reasonable and good breakfast although the hot food was cold when we went at 10am (closes at 10.30 at weekends). Okay for one night or would have been a bit disappointed.

Family get together

Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast,my only complaint is I had requested a room overlooking the harbour and this request was not passed on also no shower cap was supplied to guests.
