From the moment we arrived the staff made us more than welcome, offering a reasonably priced upgrade to a room with a balcony and river view, and ensuring all our needs were met. From the valet parking, through reception to room service, all the staff were professional and friendly. The room was light, airy and comfortable.
We stayed at Goodearth Hotel for 3 nights in the superior studio during our trip at end of August 2015. The hotel is clearly dated but still comfortable. The room is generally clean, spacious, and well-equipped with amenities (though they (tissue box, shower gel, etc) were not replenished at all throughout the 3 nights stay). Sound-proofing was however not so great, as we heard the TV from our neighbours' unit half the time, and the noise from the people who walked past our room along the corridor. The toilet was small but clean. The toilet bowl could be improved though as the flushing system doesn't quite work most of the time. That being said, the location of the hotel is good, close to the Swan River, free CAT bus-stop, car rentals, some places of interest and a walking distance (15 minutes) to the CBD. Would consider staying again!
My family and I booked 2 apartments over a weekend for my brother's wedding - the staff were at all times friendly and helpful, especially in regards to a late check-in for one apartment. Our laundry could have been a bit cleaner, but otherwise we found the apartments to be everything we needed for our stay - affordable, self-contained, spacious, parking and a convenient location - the free buses nearby were great! Would definitely recommend.
The apartment offered good value for money. Spacious and well equipped, the bed was comfortable. I was there only for one night but was pleasantly surprised. The only problem (and a quite serious one) was that the aircon units were making a ticking noise as the fan was going into low speed. Being a very cold night there was no way I could sleep with them turned off and the ticking kept waking me up. Unfortunately, this made my sleep not being restful at all.
