Oz Trip 2017

Posted 18-Aug-2017
Pros: The proximity of the hotel to the city and the views.
Cons: The rooms need updating, the bathroom looked tired, the areas around the atrium looked like they need plants / flowers and pictures it looked bare.
Location: Only a brief walk into the city - 20 mins, local bars & restaurants close by and good views of the Swan River
I stayed for 10 nights, no issues but the hotel needs a refurbishment

Great location and amenities

Posted 10-Aug-2017
Pros: Amenities and spaciousness.
Location: Great location near the CBD. Nice walk along the Swan River. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.
We had a great relaxing stay. The cafe and bar in the lobby were excellent. Location was great with an easy walk to the CBD, train and cafes and restaurants along the river.

Nice, clean and comfortable hotel.

We arrived very tired and left 5 days later very relaxed. Great room service, staff very obliging and friendly. Good location with excellent view of the Swan and Perth. Nothing was a problem and foyer area was always bustling with guests, visitors and staff. Always there ready to help in anyway they could to ensure our stay was perfect.

Surely not a 5 Stars rated hotel.

Pros: Lovely hotel, convenient to the free bus to downtown. Staff was very friendly and helpful - even provided me with hair spray and a clock.
Cons: Access to street. A clock in the room would have been nice, but housekeeping provided one on request
The only thing wrong - and it was a major inconvenience - is the lack of easy access to the sidewalk and bus stop in front. I had to use a walker and there are a lot of stairs to the street level. I could only use the driveways and had to dodge cars and taxis. And several times it was pouring rain when I arrived - no fun. A wheelchair user would be out of luck. I locked myself out of the safe, and they had a person come to the room within 15 minutes to reset it. I was amazed.

Very friendly and professional staff

Posted 18-Jul-2017
Pros: The staff and beautiful atmosphere and surroundings.
Cons: The little downstairs cafe could be open on weekends-nice to have enjoyed a coffee & snack there- a little less formal than the conservatory.
Location: Location was good. The bus stop right out the front was very handy and transport was fantastic.
The Hyatt Regency was a great place to stay. We were looked after very well and enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional.
