"Great location just 15 min away from the entrance to sequoia NP. Variety in the bfast and easy check in. It was clean and perfect for relax after a long day at the park "
"The location was perfect and the rooms and facilities lodge were well maintained. The room was large and had a large flat screen TV, microwave and refrigerator. The restaurant was excellent which was a nice surprise for a national park. We had the Pork Chop, Chicken Marsala, Chicken Sandwich and Salmon for dinner. All were very good with large portions. Same for breakfast. The French Toast, pancake stack, egg white entree and eggs and sausage were plentiful and very tasty. Other positives include having a nice, small gift shop, a bar, pizza restaurant as another option with a nice deck and water bottle filling station. I highly recommend Wuksachi Lodge. Improvements, if possible, would be improved WiFi, more outdoor sitting areas and adding a small laundry area."
"The Staff Person was very helpful and gave helpful suggestions to make our stay enjoyable.
To help your guests, have enough towels and coffee for all assigned to room.
Have Maintenance Staff pull beds out to clean under head of bed and the a/c unit.
Overall, we would stay here again. Thank you for adding to our traveling experience."
"River Retreat House" - River With Two Decks, BBQ, Firepit🔥, near Sequoia Park
10/10 Excellent
"We just spent a wonderful week here as our basecamp for Sequoia and Kings Canyon, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The location is ideal — minutes from the park entrance, close to all the local Three Rivers spots, and the Kaweah River runs right through the property, which was honestly our favorite part. Nothing beats coming back from a long day of hiking and unwinding by the river. Srey was an exceptional host: before our trip she sent us a thoughtful guide packed with restaurant recommendations, hikes, rafting outfitters, and grocery tips that made planning so much easier — it felt like having a local friend mapping out our trip. The cabin itself is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped; the propane BBQ got plenty of use and the kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommend to anyone planning a Sequoia trip.- Prajwal & Sneha"
"The sliding door for the patio did not lock. It would appear to lock, but a slightly firm pull would open it right up. No curtains on the windows for privacy. Just wooden blinds you could easily see through. The sauna was operational, but the buttons were all worn down and there were no instructions on how to operate it.
We got in later after a long day of traveling and weren't in the mood to bring anything up.
The view itself and the location were great!"
"Super unique accommodation - sadly had to cut my stay short given that i forgot my dogs medication but i plan to rebook! The tent stay was fabulous and nothing like the sound of a rushing river to put you to sleep! Just a really special nature-driven stay!"
