We had a very pleasant weekend with some hiccups. The retreat was just what we needed. WE are a family that enjoys quiet, access to the water, kayaking and sitting around the outside fire in the evening, gazing at the stars. I suggest bed side lamps. the screen door was loose on the door leading from the kitchen to the deck, i had to buy tea light candles to light the steps going up to the entry door.. I was surprised to see the bedroom adjacent to the games room. It was listed an an upstairs bedroom, needs heat in there for sure. We made excellent use of the kitchen for our meals, pantry space was very adequate. Do supply a potato masher for the potatoes. Dishwashwe washer was so nice to be able to use. Feeding ten people three times a day was a treat for easy dish and cutlery washing. Nice to have lots of pans. The gift was very much welcoming and appreciated. We were a ble to warm up two of the bedrooms, had to heat the kitchen with the stove oven in the morning to ease the morning chill/. Other then that we enjoyed it. Extra seating in the living room area is needed. I notice in the picture the sofa in the games room was pictured being in the upstairs living room. We certainly enjoyed the deck adjacent to the kitchen for extra seating. God willing we will be back. Thank you so much!
