Hotel was a pleasure to spend a week in . staff was friendly and courteous . We had a ocean front room on the 4th floor overlooking the harbor , Mallory Square. and the hotel pool. Balcony was delightful to sit on day and night . the pool was very nice , not overcrowded while we were there . there was always lounges available . Pool area was spotless and the bar and food service was great . Hotel is pricey and I had high expectations and was not disappointed . Would absolutely stay there again .

The concierge, Mitchell, was superb. Very pleasant and easy to work with. He ordered us a cab for a 6am pick up. Cab was on time and clean. Loved the pool area. Within walking distance all activities, shopping, dining and sight seeing. Mallory Square is their backyard.

The only good thing about my stay, was My room had the best view! I got lost and could not find my room. I had no phone on me and no way to reach out to anyone there were two cleaning employees. They’re just chatting it up on the steps. I asked if they could help me. I was lost and I could not find my room. She said well what’s the number? I said I don’t know then she proceeded to laugh because she thought that was funny or something, then continued to laugh. Watch me be upset so I asked someone else she didn’t speak English so I was lost about 45 minutes till I finally made it back to the front desk the bathtub there was absolutely disgusting. It had not been cleaned. I came back to my room to change and a lady was cleaning it. I asked her if she could just give me a minute because I needed to get changed , she said that she would have to finish cleaning the room before so I was late because she wouldn’t get out of my room for me to change… Treated very rudely would not recommend

Partial ocean view was splendid! Beautiful sunsets every night. Spa was nice, pool not too crowded and warm. Hot Tin Roof at sunset had a great view and excellent food.

On the plus side, the room size and layout was fantastic. Pool was awesome. Hotel location and restaurants were really cool too! We feel there were 3 key areas of opportunity the hotel could improve upon. Keep in mind, this is through the context of Ocean Key being classified as "4 star" and its premium price to the Key West market. (1) Room was recently renovated, but was dirty/unfinished/poor details. Housekeeping did not know how to clean floors properly, leaving sticky film residue and old hair everywhere. There were paint and finishing blemishes all over the place. The shower only had half a door, so water sprayed everywhere. Bathtub in the bedroom did not drain and its faucet did not function properly. (2) The beds were the worst we've ever slept on, and this includes budget-friendly 3-star hotels. My wife and I felt like someone beat up our backs each night, and as a result we slept poorly. Case in point: when we got back to the Midwest, we stayed at a basic 3-star Hilton and their bed seemed to "heal" our backs from Ocean Key. This applies to the sofabed too per our 8-year old daughter. (3) They do not know basic definitions of coffee. If you are serving breakfast, it's vital to get coffee right. We ordered lattes through room service but got crappy drip coffee mixed with milk (not a hint of espresso to be found). In the end, feeling dirty and sleeping terribly/being sore from the beds offset the location and pool.

We absolutely loved the staff and manager. They were amazing. The room was clean but the room needed upgrading. It had chipped paint and peeling edges along with outdated and worn furniture. The elevators smelled like mold since it’s exposed to the outside.

A family friendly hotel located on the ocean end of Duvall street. A surprisingly quiet oasis. Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean. Staff all very helpful and welcoming. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Unfortunately the food didnt measure up to the 5 star quality of the hotel experience.

The property is undergoing renovation. While we stayed in the allegedly completed portion, the finished work was not reviewed. There wasn't an electrical outlet to plug the lamp by the side of the bed in. When brought to the attention of the staff was told , oh the lamp is only for decoration! The bill was improperly calculated as items not taken from the minibar were charge to us. Additionally, the staff was unaware of how great their fine dining restaurant Hot Tin Roof was and suggested we get dressed up for another restaurant which clearly was not as good. Hot Tin Roof and the location were the bright spots in an overly expensive hotel

Recently had a 2 night stay. The first morning we were woken up around 7am on saturday by the sound of power tools. The hotel was booking rooms around where they were still under going a remodel. Our room reeked of fresh paint. There initally was no hot water. Absolutely terrible. However, the staff was accommodating and pleasant. Quick to address concerns and understanding of the situation. 10/10 on the customer sevice side. If you choose to book here in the near future, make sure to ask for a room away from the construction!

We undertook a large renovation project for the last 3 months, which as you experienced is delayed in completion. Several teams have been rushing to install the final touches and to complete these projects as soon as possible. While I commend and am proud of the overall accomplishment of the hotel team, there have been several lessons learnt and continued to be learnt. We continue today and into the new week in organizing and cleaning up the Resort while also ensuring the Renovation crews complete their tasks. There are several items that need adjusting and repairing that we are realizing and finding as our own teams begin the process of reopening the full Resort. Please accept my apologizes. This property is under renovation, however, they do a great job keeping it from the public view so other than less rooms that's not an issue. We had one of recently renovated rooms and we were less than impressed. The bed was ridiculously loud and creeky so waking up a partner in bed is not too difficult. I didn't care for how they did the shower. It's missing a door which they are saying is part of the design. What that means do you and i is a mess of water outside the door on the floor. If you are going to have an opening, at least put the shower head on the far wall. Instead they put a waterfall shower in the middle so it hits you and goes outside the door. If you are staying a long period of time you'll be working out of your luggage. Not alot of draw space. The staff is very good from the pool to the front and the cleaning staff who are always present - which is good. The location is perfect. We were able to get UBER's in 1 minute almost every time.

Love this property at the end of pier where sunset is. Adorable inside rooms are amazing. The worst part is all the noise at the end of the pier you hear at night 10-12 midnight. Pool is small but clean and great chairs. Nice bar good food. Great service. Perfect location steps from Duval.

Secluded location, yet convenient to Duval St and marina. Property has quaint Key West feel but larger then it looks. Staff was incredibly accommodating and pool drinks were excellent. Ocean front room was impressive. Nicely updated, spacious and comfortable. Cruise ships docked at neighboring property without obstructing any views from Ocean Key. Contrary to many reviews, local roosters were not at all an issue.
