"Beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting "
Stayed for two nights, staff very friendly and accommodating. Hotel beautiful and clean. I had pre booked champagne for the room which wasn't there on arrival which was disappointing as it was a surprise for my partner. Breakfast very good and service excellent. There had been some work carried out on the bathroom door and the wood shavings were on the floor and the door, this was not cleaned whilst we stayed there. Would recommend this hotel

"Fantastic location for peace and quiet "
Stayed in a 2 bed cabin that was well equipped and beautifully clean, and overlooked part of the large garden. Chose this place for being dog friendly and the only disappointment was that we had only booked for 1 night. Would definitely return and recommend.

"Perfect special occasion venue."
A serene location to enjoy a friend's family celebrations. Food was tasty, staff friendly and room very comfortable. A lovely swimming pool and facilities with terrific gardens to walk around. On a positive, it was dog friendly, which is great but service was a bit slow in the evening when we ordered a bar snack.

"Friendly and comfortable stay"
At first glance looks a little untidy from the outside but we (2 adults and 2 children) stayed over for 1 night whilst visiting friends in the area and had a very entertaining time in the bar chatting to the owners and other bar customers. Had a bar meal which was cheap and filling and the room was clean and very comfortable. Enjoyed the short stay and would stop over again.
