Recently renovated and neat as a pin, this small hotel is a gem. You cant ask for a better location - 5 mins walk to the Duomo and Uffizi and under 20 mins to the Boboli Gardens. All questions were quickly answered and everyone from the owner, management, cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Perfect Location
Great place to stay. Location cannot be beat. It’s in the heart of the Florence activity. Staff was helpful and ordered a taxi for us since ordering on your own can be a bit more complicated.

It was very difficult to find the location. Fortunately the owners responded to our phone call and actually drove to lead us to site and parking. Very well located for Florence and staff was very helpful.

Best Spot in Florence.
Excellent location. Very convenient. Room and shared kitchen facilitated with everything you need. The host is very friendly and helpful with whatever you may need and can assist with any issue. Housekeeping is excellent. 2-10 min. walk to the best cultural attractions, shopping, coffee & street food. We enjoyed every moment of our 9-night stay.

Great stay in a great hotel in a great city
Really friendly hotel. The room was quiet dispite it being in a busy area of the city. Very central location. Beautiful room, clean and spacious. The breakfast was nice, served at the cafe/bar on the ground floor.

The breakfast is actually the cafe next door however one of the best cakes and cafe I have been to in florence. Just like a victorian tea room. Room was perfect and reception kind and friendly. Valet parking was actually valet parking at the garage and not by the hotel but again no problem. A short walk. I would definitely stay again because of the above and the location.

What a great place ! Perfect location , steps from everything. Huge rooms and A/C that worked perfect. Host was phenomenal no problems finding taxi took us straight there from airport. We have stayed many places in Florence. This will be it from now on. Thanks for a great week

Perfect Italian charm and comfort
Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in a no-fuss, most charming, old world style hotel: only 7 rooms on the third floor of a historic residential building right in the heart of the city. A terrific bakery next door offers delicious and affordable breakfast options. My room looked onto the rooftops of other residential building a and the Duomo.

A brilliant find.
Such a brilliant location, totally central. It was lovely to have someone on reception all day, who was so friendly and helpful with everything. The room was great, clean and quiet from any city noise and cosy.

Great place. Typical European guesthouse with shared kitchen. Great private room, big for Europe, new bathroom, strong AC, terrific owner. Perfect location near all the action. Couldn't have been better.

This a great place and location, right between 2 historical squares, only stayed one night but there are many restaurants, shops , Gelato, leather shops Close by! We would definitely come back again and stay longer.

NIce but lobby reeks of methane
Location is excellent... right in the heart of the city. The Host is a very nice and helpful gentleman. The room was a bit spartan, but nice and clean. The bathroom was very basic, but also clean. However... the ground floor of the building, which includes a substantial vestibule and elevator waiting area absolutely reeks of methane gas, as in, the stench of human you know what. This made the unavoidable task of entering and leaving our residence an absolutely awful experience; to the point, that we planned our last days around avoiding the odor by making sure we only entered and exited the residence one time each day. Of course, this pretty much eliminated the value of staying in the heart of the city. I also want to mention that we requested ice and were told they don't provide it and there is no place nearby to get any. I find this odd and unacceptable in a supposedly 4 star property. As a final positive note, I want to mention that the hotel has a breakfast agreement with the bakery next door, Il Forno S.r.l. I highly recommend you have breakfast there, regardless of whether you stay at Residenza Della Signoria. It is a wonderful little bakery/cafe with amazing pastries and cappuccino.

Great Florence Hotel

What a wonderful property, situated right on the centre. Room was spotless and Stefano was really helpful and friendly. There is s small communal kitchen with a fridge and water cooler. You can also get a hot drink at a small price. There was nothing to dislike and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great stay.

Stefano was lovely! The rooms are the epitome of Italian style and well-kept. The location is perfect - right between Piazzas Della Signoria and Della Repubblica, and a few steps from Orsanmichele. Perfect!

Lovely hotel in an excellent location with beautiful decoration and nicely equipped bathroom as well as an extremely helpful receptionist. I would have given it 10 out of 10 except that we slept really poorly as the mattresses were incredibly hard. Even our teenager suffered from a sore shoulder and I had bad back and hip pain. Do the Italians like hard mattresses? Is it a cultural issue?

Remember you are in a city. The hotel us on the 3rd floor of the building. Might be hard to find at first but you will be in the center of Florence with easy access to all the major sites.

This property was perfect. Beautiful room with 15 ft ceilings and traditional decor. The location was right in the center of Florence...just a couple of blocks from Ufizzi and 5 minutes from Ponte Vecchio. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone wanting to be close to everything. Reasonably priced too.

Not a standard hotel, but in the heart of Florence in an apartment building/flat with locals. Stefano was very communicative and helpful. The room was beautiful and spacious, and the views were fantastic. Great location to walk to all the popular sights.

The room was superb - large with high ceilings and beautiful light coming through the large window. The bed was super comfortable and the windows completely shut out the noise from the street below. The shower is very small but the bathroom was a nice size. The service was top notch!
