As central as you can get

Posted 11-Jul-2017
Pros: The Room was huge with very high wooden ceiling which gave it a very lovely cool spacious feel. The bathroom small but functional.
Cons: Our room was at the front of the building and unfortunately there is a nightclub next door which meant you could hear the shouts of clubbers till 0300
Location: Everywhere is within walking distance and easily accessible. There is such a rich abundance of art, history, culture and food it cannot be described
The hotel is simple and functional. Although the hotel it is two floors up this is a minor inconvenience compared to it's excellent location which meant where ever we wanted to go was a straight line as we were in the middle. Beside all the old building in the centre are tall. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the breakfast is fresh but simple, composed of croissants, bread, coffee cereal, juice; and that is all you need as you want to save room for florentian delicacies for lunch and dinner.

Delightful B&B close to all attractions

Posted 22-May-2017
Pros: Clean, comfortable room and daily attention to quality linens and breakfast area. Friendly, efficient Staff made us feel welcome and oriented.
Cons: There is no elevator access to bring luggage up 4 flights of stairs.
Location: Good location 15 min .walk everywhere - tourist areas and also transportation (trains, bus, taxi). Dining options right outside our door.
Privacy and security was exceptional in this cozy B&B. 4 flights of stairs to second floor with no elevator. We had a spacious, newly renovated (Red) room, private bath and storage area for luggage with lockable safe. Breakfasts were served in an immaculate, prepared kitchen area for an exceptional menu of eggs, yogurt, breads and fresh fruits - Valerie cooked our breakfast of eggs and warm croissants, made cappacino and engaged in multi-lingual conversation. Helpful supportive staff was flexible with kitchen use - - and in providing suggestions and directions for transportation and area attractions which made our 5 day stay convenient, trouble-free.

Excellent location!!!

Posted 05-May-2017
Excellent location; 5 minute walking distant from any of the mayor atractions. 10 minutes walking distance from the train station; good retaurant across the street from the hotel. Room and bathroom are modern and on the small side but with windows. Super clean, friendly staff, and excellent breakfast!

Great friendly B&B

Posted 14-Apr-2017 on Hotels
Great friendly B&B ideally located for sightseeing. There are a lot of steps up to the rooms and no lift, so it would be a problem for less mobile travellers. We loved the DIY breakfasts but that might not suit some

Great location between the Uffizi and Duomo.

The B&B is a little difficult to find but has a great central location. The narrow passages between buildings reflects GPS signals and confuses mapping service apps on a phone, making your location jump around. Once there, we were greeted warmly by the staff. Domenico carried our bags up to the 2nd floor (warning, no elevator for those in need). But it's easy to get to tourism sites and convenient to gelaterie, shopping, and restaurants. Room: Bathroom was small and lacked shelf space but had adequate hot water for showers and noisy toilet flushing. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast selections were very good with hot out of the oven croissants. Unfortunately, a noisy bar across the way failed to observe a music curfew at 11 pm and a shrill alarm ran for 10 minutes at 2:30 am on our final night.

Excellent locations but some issues

Posted 13-Mar-2017 on Hotels
The location is awesome if you can look past a few key things. The owner was very accommodating when I emailed and there were fast responses. The lady we dealt with was very condisending. Breakfast was literally burned croissants and self service with out of date yogurt. The stairs are okay if you request the first floor. We just lucky in our placement.

B&B

Posted 27-Feb-2017
First experience at a B&B. Val and Dom were very nice and welcoming! Late check in was very possible, easy, and understanding. The only compliant would be that at night there was a bar below our window that sounded light a Fraternity party until 2 AM. I used ear plugs since I am a light sleeper and that was Ok! Nothing the owners could do to prevent that so no blame to them!
