Great location

Posted 14-Jul-2017
The hotel has been renovated but the air conditioning in the room was ineffective and the wifi very erratic. However, the one thing going for this hotel is the location and all the sites were short walking distance.

Nice hotel in the centre of Florence

Posted 10-Jul-2017
Very nice hotel, with an excellent location. Two blocks from the Duomo, walking distance from the museums, churches, il mercato centrale, stores. The hotel is very clean, breakfast was very good. The bathroom is a bit small.

Close to Duomo

Posted 05-Jun-2017
Pros: Location, staff, great restaurants very close by
Cons: breakfast, noise
Location: shopping, siteseeing, restaurants
The hotel was nice and clean. However, it was so loud we were unable to sleep both nights we were there. There was a lot of noise coming from the street -- partying people, etc. It literally lasted all night, The room itself had plenty of room and lots of storage. The elevators were a bit tight. The breakfast was a bit disappointing and the coffee was really bad.

Florence Central

Posted 03-Jun-2017
A very central hotel just a couple of blocks from the Duomo. Good sized rooms but beware this is a hotel in the centre of a busy city. A bit noisy but don't let that out you off, it's a cracker. There's also a small family restaurant across the lane way, one of he highlights of the stay.

U cannot turn around yourself in the toilette...

Posted 29-May-2017
Pros: Just location...
Cons: Size of the rooms, quality of the breakfast...
I just stayed in this hotel for overnight...Room is the smallest hotel room ( No 207) I have ever been...In early morning, U can hear every detail from the corridor because the room nearly stick to the lift...I don` t think so this room can provide the basic 3 star hotel room standarts...

Location is the winner here

We loved the location, walking out the front to see the duomo down the first street was fantastic. You are right in the centre of shops here and a 2-5 minute walk to the Duomo, a 15 minute leisurely walk to Santa Maria Novella Train station. Our room was okay. it had a new renovated bathroom which was great, but the rest of the room lacked some warmth and updating. The bed was very firm as were the pillows. The staff was great, the breakfast was good, don't expect any hot food here, which is very common, cold cuts and cheeses in addition to the usual buffet foods, and a decent cappuccino. Overall for the location it's worth it, especially if you're only in Florence for 2 days!

Terrible wifi in the room and hallways, assume you do not have any wifi in your room. Wifi only works in the lobby and dining area. The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything from the hallways, especially the opening and closing of doors. There is a room right next to the lift but we were lucky enough to be down the hall. We were on level 3 and outside our window was a restaurant with an area for parking. The sound from this area echoes upwards loudly into the night. The shower is tiny. I could barely move around in it. The hotel is in a good location. It is a 6 minute walk to The Duomo. Breakfast is basic with no hot food.
