    Monzie Villa is a Self Catering Holiday Home in the beautiful village of Blairmore. The home is the second floor apartment of an old Victorian villa. It has been tastefully refurbished and redecorated and comfortably accomodates 6-8 people across its 4 bedrooms. As it is an upper floor apartment, it has wonderful views down the Clyde estuary and the top of Loch Long. You can easily loose yourself, dozing on the floor in front of the large bay window overlooking the Loch. The Loch has much sea going traffic as can be seen from the photos shown in the gallery. Blairmore is a beautiful little village, nestling on the edge of the Argyll National Park and sitting quietly on the west side of Loch Long on the west coast of Scotland. Blairmore is a sleepy little village which has two shops. The first, a lovely art gallery come coffee shop called Gallimaufrey and the second, a curiosity come charity shop called The Glory Hole. Blairmore is blessed with its own pier which has been renovated and takes visits from the Paddle Steamer Waverley, which is the last seagoing paddle steamer in the world. Blairmore has its own golf course which is on the hill behind the house and has some of the most stunning views witnessed from any golf course. Blairmore is an ideal stay if you are wanting a quiet relaxing break, or taking in some walking, fishing or golfing.       Lovely quiet location, the property had spacious rooms and kitchen with wondeful views of Loch Long

      We found the property very spacious for our needs, we were four adults and a baby under one year. Very large kitchen to cook and eat with a large lounge offering spectacular views of the water. The owner provide high chair and cot for infant and was available to answer questions regarding the property via text. The kitchen was amply provisioned with cooking utensils, glasses, plates, etc. Plenty of facilities in nearby Dunoon about 15 minutes away by car. Only negative was a stove top that was not clearly marked and seemed slow and difficult to cook on. Due to the property located on the upper level of the house it would be challenging for anyone with mobility issues to access the property.

          Total relaxation

          We had a wonderful stay at Monzie villa. We were there over New year, 6 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. The views over Loch Long from the living room were spectacular and the kitchen was a great space not only to eat but also to play games and chat. The apartment was always toasty warm and really well equipped. I would definitely come back again maybe in the summer so I can enjoy more of the Argyll countryside.

            Spacious, well equipped, comfortable apartment with lovely views.

            We enjoyed our stay with friends at Monzie Villa. The house is spacious, has good standards of cleanliness and is warm and comfortable. The large kitchen is well equipped and is a good social area for the adults, as the teenagers had taken over the lounge with it's full sized bay window and wonderful views. Wifi is good and kept the youngsters happy. The bedrooms are comfortable and the decor is fresh. This is a good base from which to explore the area. We particularly enjoyed the walk up Puck's Glen, coming down by the waterfalls. Dunoon is a short drive away and has all the amenities you would require. We would recommend this property and would book it again ouselves. Good value for money.

              Very peaceful ..... stunning views

              This was our first trip to Monzie Villa, Blairmore and it was fabulous! The villa is very comfortable, peaceful and spacious with stunning views. Great base for exploring the surrounding areas. We drove to Portavadie and the scenery was spectacular. Also, lovely wee beach at Ardentinney. There are plenty of play areas and parks for kids and Hunters Quay Holiday Village is only 10 minutes drive away where you can access swimming pool, entertainment etc. We would highly recommend staying at this lovely villa .... you will not be disappointed.
