Location great, Paul (owner? manager?) was very friendly and forthcoming, despite the room looking toward busy George St, it was fairly quiet.
Room was big, but very worn down, carpet horrible, I hated to step on it barefoot, 3 beds, but no chair, had to sit on the floor. In the bathroom no bathmat, had to use the hand towel and no shampoo/conditioner, just some small bars of soap. Could only get 1 decent TV channel, WiFi said it could not connect to network, so a no-go here either.
Had no cance to tell Paul since reception was not manned when I left.
Next time I would ask for a motel room in the back or go elsewhere and spend a few dollars more.
