The staff were all very nice and that’s why I’m giving this at least two stars, but the rest was pretty bad. From small things to having no conditioner in the shower, to a rotting deck that my foot pushed through, paper thin walls so we could hear everything from other rooms, an old, old fridge that was also loud, and a price that was way too high. I would not recommend staying here unless you’re completely stuck. Terrible night overall for us.

This is in an excellent location right by the water. Nice walking nearby and close enough to walk down the road for some nice restaurants. It's an older place that is well maintained and very clean. Have stayed there for many years and there are often improvements and upgrades from one year to the next. Reasonably priced.

Noisy people in the suite next to me until 2am, easy to hear talking and door closing, so if you're a light sleeper, good luck. Bathroom was small, toilet very close the wall and awkward to use. Obvious streaks on the mirrors and TV. It was a place to crash for a couple nights while visiting friends on the island, but probably wont stay there again.

It’s a bit out of Duncan so it’s pretty quiet. The trade off is that there isn’t a restaurant anywhere near by. There is a view of the ocean so that’s nice. The units could use some sprucing up (old nail holes patched, maybe repainting and recaulking around the tub). but it served its purpose.

The building layout i love , the front few rooms have the best view and the side rooms are all "partial view" the call it but its a nuce clear view of water on private balcony, the staff there were super friendly and helpful, very plesent ,

The Wessex Inn offers affordable accommodation. The building and rooms are showing there age, but are clean and comfortable. The clerk was very friendly and welcoming. He gave us a bit of a room upgrade because there was one available. We had a good sleep. That’s what we were there for. We’ve stayed there before and will likely stay again.
