"Great location in town. Great host. My 1st choice when visiting Castletownbere"
"We stayed here for 2 weeks and glad we did! It was so remote with a fantastic view. It was a bonus that it shared a fence line with sheep, we really enjoyed watching them being rounded up by the Collies from time to time and seeing them out of the large picture window in the kitchen as we absorbed the beautiful view. The place pretty much has everything you need with reliable Internet to stream on the TV as well, I do recommend bringing a streaming device for the TV. There is plenty to do in the area, ranging from a 10-minute drive to an hour, depending on how much you want to explore. The place was clean and I loved the setup downstairs (the bedrooms and bathrooms were upstairs) Perfect for 3-5 people and the couch was very comfortable as well. The only thing I would note is that the bed upstairs is starting to show its age, felt the springs in the mattress a bit, I mentioned to the owners. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a remote location to stay with plenty to do with a short drive. I just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time there and certainly hope to get back in the future. 5 stars for sure!"

"Stayed for 2 glorious weeks. Couldn’t have been happier with the house. The minute we turned into the drive that creeped down to a breathtaking view, we knew our time at Domhain Eile would be memorable.
The house was spotless with everything needed for a great summer holiday. We are keen cooks and the kitchen came equipped with everything needed, also a great big table for family board games. The bedrooms were big with views from each room. Plenty of extra towels and sheets for a 2 week stay. Great WiFi for the teenagers.
Castletownbere is a wonderful location , with access to lots of activities. We enjoyed them all-swimming, pier jumping, scuba diving, kayaking, horse riding, hiking, cable car to Dursey Island, Allihies beach. Star adventure centre. Bantry Boat Charters, all So easy to get to from Domhain Eile.
We hope to return again in the future."
