"Stayed at Torrs Warren for one night on our way to Northern Ireland by ferry. Excellent location for ferry. Staff very welcoming and attentive but in a discreet way. Very comfortable sleep. Great breakfast. Excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend. "

"Very large room in a quiet part of the hotel and close to the swimming pool. Swimming was a pleasure as the water was warm and the pool large enough to swim actual lengths. Pleasant staff. Extensive breakfast buffet. Location looks remote at first glance but a good base for exploring Galloway or travelling on into Ayrshire."

"We just loved our stay at Saltwater Chronicles. Beautiful, newly decorated lodge with a brilliant view of the sea. We loved walking along the rocks, exploring the caves, walking up through the stunning green glen to the impressive waterfalls. The two lochs are so pretty. Every member of the team we encountered on the estate was friendly and welcoming. The meals we ordered from the kitchen were delicious. Communications were quick and helpful. We can’t wait to return."

Rooms were clean and the front area of the hotel was an amazing area to just sit in for a bit. Old woodwork with comfortable yet antique style furniture. "
