I would recommend this hotel, staff are great and helpful. The wee breakfast chef makes a cracking plate of food. I will say though the town is not 5 mins distance from the hotel, keep that in mind before you set off in the morning walking

Just stayed, with dog, overnight on our way south. Very pleasant young lady on reception - very helpful. Comfortable room, clean, though bathroom beginning to look a little tired, and taps / shower not the best. Good value for money, comfortable bed.
