This is my third time of staying at the hotel, it's very conveniently located next to the train station and the main town. The staff seem to be more biased towards other traveller's than the English. There was refit works going on we were not notified by either the hotel or Expedia! The bar wasnt open although there was a make shift one in the restaurant, the workman where still drilling and sawing until 9pm, so not a really nice relaxed atmosphere & the staff where not equipped to be serving more than one customer at a time. The local rough living chap thought he could use the outside corner of the hotel as his nightly toilet stop, mentioned it to reception and 2 days later the mess was still on the floor!

This place is really very nice and clean. I loved the location, it's close to the train station which makes long journeys comfortable. Especially for those who come here to attend KolnMesse expo. Highly recommended.

Pleasantly Surprised for the Price
Great location and staff-they were always helpful and precessional. The room size is also amazing. The hotel could use some upgrades, but not a bad stay. My room was pleasantly spacious. It could have used some extra vacuuming/sweeping, but it didn’t impact my stay. There aren’t fancy room amenities, but the price and location make up for it. We were only in the room to sleep and shower, and this hotel hit the target for that. Another plus is that it is one of the FEW hotels in Düsseldorf that don’t make families get a second room for children. Like I’m really going to get a separate room for my 11 year old child. The breakfast was reasonably priced and offered a good variety.

Service very nice - breakfast also - room also ok
Where nice and helpful service. the rooms are also with lot of space, beds very good and so the toillets. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Breaskfast also very good. Good price x good Hotel.

A Good Surprise
I was pleasantly surprised at the standard of hotel for the price and location. Quiet, very good buffet breakfast, comfortable bed, bath, only three minutes walk from the train station. Tea and coffee and kettle was in the room. I would very happily stay again

Look elsewhere. Avoid at all costs!
Terrible hotel. We arrived from Amsterdam as part of a longer trip having booked all our hotels through Hotels.com. As this was only a short stay, we booked a non-refundable rate. It was all going great until we arrived at the hotel on a rainy Monday morning. Upon checking in, they asked us where we were travelling from and informed us that we needed to give them negative COVID test results which shouldn't be more than 48 hours old. This requirement was not present when we booked the hotel a week prior, it had been added that morning for travellers from Amsterdam. The lady was kind enough to show us where we could get the test done but the results wouldn't be available for another couple of days, so not an option. We were told that we couldn't get a refund because it was non-refundable but even if it were refundable, the refund window would have expired the day before so again not an option. We were blamed for not calling ahead to check if their policy had changed!! Any way you could look at it, we were always going to lose our money without staying there on top of having to find an alternative hotel at the last minute. We felt they needed to inform us when their policy changed after we had bokked and paid, especially that close to our stay. We complained through Hotels.com and the hotel again reminded us that our rate was non-refundable. So, we lost the money but we hope anyone else wanting to stay there has a better experience, but I would look elsewhere if I were you.

Great location & value
Excellent location right next to Dusseldorf central station, service is excellent (friendly & fast), good breakfast, spacious and clean rooms. Only downside is rooms are a bit outdated on style & TV. Stayed at this hotel several times, would definitely come back when i'm in Dusseldorf.

showing age, shower tile has mold which is reason for not so good review. My pet peeve, I can live with other things, but not mold in bathroom. One of the lobby clerks was less than friendly, others were good. But it’s that one rude one that ruins things.

Convenient
Hotel was well located with great staff and a good restaurant. Parking might be a challenge for non able bodied people as it is adjacent to the hotel and not part of it plus there’s no lift meaning a guest has to lug the luggage up and down a steep ramp.

Nice stay and great location!
Just a quick one night stay. They upgraded me to a suite which was nice but as you sometimes find in Euopean hotels you get to your floor and still have to go up stairs. I had heavy luggage with me on this trip to that was inconvenient. But there was a tub in the room so a nice soak made up for it. Overall a nice place in a great location next to the train station.

Leonardo was easily accessible to the station the hotel very clean and rooms were very comfortable and spacious the staff on reception was excellent, the only fault was the tea and coffee facilities in the room had paper cups, not nice and wooden stick spoons, the breakfast was very good, plenty to choose from, the bar facilities were dreadful very very slow once ordered took at least 10/20 minutes to actually receive the drink, and kept running out of certain spirits otherwise a lovely hotel and would use again

Excellent choice - splendid location
This is a very good hotel in a really good location. The room was splendid and quiet. The breakfast was very good and the staff excellent and friendly. No problem that we do not speak German. Very close (4 minutes) from the main station yet on a quiet and pleasant street. Only disappointment was no gin (all week) in the bar!
