"We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. It was a short walk to Waverley train station, Edinburgh bus station, and the Royal Mike. And the hop on-hop off buses were right outside if you wanted to take a tour. "

"The hotel had amazing views of Edinburg Castle and was in close proximity to many of Edinburg’s historic sites. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. "

"This was a first stop on my Scotland trip. The check-in was expedient and was given a double bed with bathroom.
The radiator did not put out much heat but I draped my rain-soaked clothing over a chair in front of it for a quicker drying.
The breakfast was wonderful and well worth the price - get it! The spread was open early with many hot/cold options.
The only inconvenience was one entrance/exit. "
