Our cabin was nice, clean and comfortable. No beach access onsite but close by. I would stay here again!

This little place is fantastic. I loved it. It had a fantastic kitchen. The porch and the grounds generally were wonderful and you can’t beat the property views!

It was a lovely place and would have been perfect had we been traveling alone or as a couple -- but was too small traveling with a child. The whirlpool tub in our cabin was HUGE and amazing -- except one of us required handicap accessibility and we thought we had a "walk in" shower and this was VERY difficult to get in with no grab bars or leg clearance etc. Also, if you are staying for a while there are no dressers etc. to put away your clothes so we had suitcases all over the kitchen. Just awkward. It was a lovely setting -- but not very private.

We had a large family reunion in Bellevue and rented out all of the cabins for me, my siblings and their families. It was great to have the beautiful views of the Mississippi, lots of outdoor seating (as our extended family of 70 people were in town), and an easy walk to downtown and all the 4th of July activities. The cabins were nicely renovated (particularly North Star - where I stayed). The only fly in the ointment was that the toilet backed up in one of the cabins. However, the folks at Moon River Cabins were very responsive (despite the holiday) and had it fixed the next morning. They were great. Thanks guys!!

It was a very nice cabin overlooking the Mississippi River. There was a porch to sit on and look at the river and the barges going up and down it. Just a few blocks from a lock and dam that you can visit. Fire pit and grill for each cabin. Proprietor was very friendly and available for questions.

Amazing little getaway

Wonderful! Charming cabins on the edge of town so restaurants and shops are in walking distance. The cabins have a nice homey feel. The owners are really friendly and are quick to response if needed. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Great location in town, right on beautiful sidewalk along Mississippi. Walk to a handful of great eateries, brewery, and very stocked local market for groceries to bring back and grill. Great Firepits provided. Easy check in/ out process. Bring your own coffee- they provide filters.

We loved our stay here! It was the perfect place to stay while we hiked in nearby parks and visited Galena, IL. The cabin was comfortable, clean, and private. The bed and pillows were great and I slept so well during our stay. Having a kitchen was really handy so we could make breakfast and keep water bottles cold. The location was beautiful and within walking distance to a lock on the river, a great restaurant (highly recommend Flatted Fifth), and a brewery. If you're visiting the area I highly recommend staying here!

This property and the cabins at Moon River are very quaint & super well maintained. They have thought of everything from cooking utensils & plates in the full kitchen to wonderful robes in the bathroom. The view from the cabins of the Mississippi River is fantastic! The air conditioning in the cabin is WONDERFUL & a very new & efficient system. You can tell this property owner has been in the business for quite some time, as they have perfected the hospitality here! The beds are soft and the bedding is wonderful! We love Bellevue & will be back soon!

Good for a family , everyone has a bed and close to everything. When weather is nice you could walk everywhere. Clean bathrooms and nice towels and kitchen dishes. Some of the doors and carpet need repair. Granddaughters want to go back and stay in the same cabin, they loved the loft.

Charming cabin in beautiful Bellevue
We had a great time in Bellevue. The locals are so very welcoming and friendly. Moon River cabins are charming and convenient to local restaurants and the State Park. We checked in at the sister property which is lovely and Naomi was very helpful. Jessie welcomed us at the cabin and made sure we were comfortable. The River walk is just a few steps away for evening walks.

The bathroom wasn't exactly as sanitary as I expected. The toilet seat moved everytime you sat on it. It was cramped. There was hair in the shower. For the price I would think the bathrooms would've been in better shape. I'm glad I had called before to let them know we would be arriving late. There was no indication of a check in place or how to check in or out. I had to call the number to figure out the check out process. The beds were comfy and the place was quaint. Great views.

Nice location. Grounds unkempt. Cabin was awesome.
The cabin next door had the pilot lights blown out by an overhead fan. Strong gas smell so I called ER number and got immediate response. Well done!
