This was an outstanding property-- couple blocks from downtown eateries and shopping and off the street parking was a bonus. The unit is nicely updated, very quiet and the queen bed was VERY COMFORTABLE. We didn't need the 2 additional bedroms, but used one of the extra spacious closets with plenty of hangers. The kitchen was stocked well with pots, pans and utensils. Jeff was quick to respond to questions and gave us some local dining recomendations. We stayed a week and would recommend the unit to anyone who enjoys being in downtown locations. A plus was the Saturday Farmers market--- loved it. Thanks Jeff

Very adequate house for our stay
We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and ease of checking in. This is a quaint old house with large bedrooms. Once we found the fans we were able to cool the upstairs rooms nicely.

Enjoyed Dubuque!
Property was in an excellent location to enjoy all of Dubuque. Walking distance to several breweries and restaurants and easy access for day trips to Decorah and Effigy Mounds. The fire pit area was great and there was plenty of wood provided by the owner. The only drawback was the lack of comfortable furniture; the couch was fine but when there were three of us, it was difficult for all of us to be comfortable. Really a great place for a stay in Dubuque.

Cool and Cozy Retreat
This property is awesome! Great location close to Dubuque restaurants and activities, 20 minute drive to Galena. We felt right at home with all the amenities we needed. The bedrooms are so cute and beds super comfy. Jeff was an excellent host. We had a small issue and he responded right away to help us. I only wish it had been warmer outside to enjoy the cute patio and fire pit. Highly recommend this property!

Great Location
Great historic property that has been nicely updated. Plenty of room to spread out. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed. The weather didn’t cooperate, so we didn’t get to use the back deck area. May have to return in the summer to enjoy that space.

Historic Townhome in Unique Setting!
Fantastic rehab of historic home! The cozy backyard with BBQ and fire pit underneath the stone bluff made our stay very memorable! The property owner always responded quickly to my inquiries. Driveway parking was a big plus. The location is in walking distance of many interesting things to do and see.

Great spot for socializing and easy access to downtown
Our group of 4 really enjoyed this house. Nice tv room for relaxing, patio in the back was a lot of fun to grill and have a fire with everything supplied. All the bedrooms were upstairs making sleeping quiet. We would definitely come back again. Thanks Jeff!

Charming house with everything you'd need!
Six of us stayed for a long weekend for a family wedding. There was plenty of room to enjoy each other's company on the main floor. Great kitchen space, and the outdoor patio is gorgeous staring straight at a bluff. Comfy beds, cute decor, and a great location! We would absolutely stay here again. The only drawback is there's only one shower (1.5 bathrooms), so plan accordingly!

The house was very clean. We needed some dish soap and just sent a message to Jeff, the owner. He responded immediately. Whenever I texted him even before the trip he responded immediately. Checking in and checking out was easier than any other VRBOs.

Wonderful home close to town
We had a wonderful time staying in this property while in town for a family reunion. If we return we would definitely want to stay here again. We could walk to Main St in 5 minutes.

Great getaway
The family and I came to Dubuque for a family reunion and stayed at this property. The Property manager (Jeff) was great to work with. The place had everything we needed for our 4 day weekend and the convenient location made it easy for what we were looking for. I would recommend this place for your next stay in Dubuque.

We travel to DBQ regularly but this was the first time staying in a rental property there. The home was beautiful, well equipped and clean. We were able to comfortably sleep 3 adults and 3 kids. Location was perfect. We rarely ever need to stay in a rental inDBQ but would def stay in the one again.

Wedding Weekend
We chose this property for our son's wedding weekend in Dubuque. He and his fiancee were married at Cathedral of St. Raphael's a block away and they had their reception at the Hotel Julian, two blocks away. It was a perfect location with restaurants and other establishments very close by. It was wonderful to have a 'home away from home' for our son and our family for his wedding weekend. The property is very nice inside and accommodated our family well. We were pleased to find a well stocked kitchen with dishes that could be used for family meals and entertaining a few guests inside and out. The outdoor area is very pretty, right up against the bluff with adequate space for a small gathering which we hosted between the wedding and reception. A little yard work was necessary to spruce it up before pictures were taken in back. It was a wonderful find for a family from out of town celebrating their son's wedding. The area seemed safe, although there is inconsistency between property upkeep in the area. This could be due to age of properties. Several friends will be renting this property in the future for similar events. We would stay here again when in Dubuque! Thank you.

In town for a girls weekend & had activities planned in Galena, IL. Easy access to highway and only 20 minutes to Galena. Great house, clean and great outdoor space that we put to good use. Found some fun things to do close by as well.

We were in Dubuque for our grand daughter's wedding at 7 Hills Brewery. Great location, 5 min from venue, museum/aquarium, fast food and groceries. House was super clean, homeowner was so nice, great communication. Big enough for 4 adults and 2 children.

perfect location and cute place
We had a great couple of days staying here. Location is great for walking to shops and restaurants and about a 1/2 mile from the millwork district. Host was very efficient in replying back to any questions we had. The place itself is SUPER cute and very clean. It is a town home, so there is a unit right next door. we could not hear anything but wasn't aware of that. It did not or would not deter us from staying again.

My husband and I spent our anniversary at this property.We will definitely be back. We really enjoyed the private patio and the fire pit which were snuggled up next to a rocky bluff which was amazing. There was plenty of wood to use and the edison lights were a nice touch. The inside was beautifully decorated and the hardwood floors were emaculate. We love to cook and we took advantage of the kitchen which had everything we needed The neighborhood was quiet and close to some cute coffee shops and a short drive to some great parks. Our host responded quickly when we had questions and made checking in and out a breeze. We look forward to staying at this property again.

Great property!
We really enjoyed this property. Very clean and a great kitchen to cook in. The first night we stayed we walked a couple of blocks to the barrel house which was good food and fun atmosphere. We enjoyed the back patio and fire pit with view of the bluff. The owner was very flexible on our checkout time as we needed an additional hour. I would absolutely rent this property again!

We loved the house. The rooms were spacious and very clean. A lot of time went into the painting, brickwork restoration, and decorative wood enhancements. Our granddaughters’ favorite spot was the very large closet in the third bedroom; it had a window seat. The only improvement would be to put window shades/curtains on the dining room and kitchen windows/sliding doors. We would definitely come back to this property. Jeff was great at communicating with us too . 😎
