Absolutely superb hotel in a lovely small village. Every detail has been thought of and the accommodation has everything you need. Breakfast was different each day and full of fresh produce from the garden or from local suppliers. Alma is an amazing host who makes you feel very welcome and cooks the most amazing food. The location is excellent with access to the jetty and water literally 30 seconds away. We loved our week here and would highly recommend. We loved our stay and really enjoyed Slano.

Beautiful villa overlooking a quiet & pretty bay with lovely restaurants nearby. We loved Alma, who is such a warm, kind and super helpful host. Alma’s food is fantastic, we really enjoyed our breakfasts and chatting to her. Our bedroom was very comfortable with stunning views from our balcony. We even had our own private suntanning jetty on the water with sun lounges. Highly recommend staying here.

There are few places quite literally on the planet that compare to Villa Almadria. This is a MUST see property and experience for discerning adults. The host is one of those very rare personalities with an unparalleled weath of experience, taste and class. All in a laid back gorgeous environment right on arguably one of the most scenic places in the world. If you have never been to Croatia, in 20 min drive to Dubrivnik proper, Villa Almadria should be on your bucket list.

Overall, our stay at Villa Almadria was excellent. Honestly, I don’t think we could have asked for a better bed and breakfast experience. Alma was a gracious and welcoming host. She had everything prepared for our stay and was a valuable resource for all things local. One example was that she knew of a local restaurant located above Slano that only accepts people via reservations. Alma suggested this to us, called the restaurant to reserve a seat, and it ended up being one of the best nights we had in Croatia! Additionally, every morning breakfast was prepared promptly at the time that we had requested it. All of the ingredients were locally sourced (including from her own garden!) and some of the pastries were prepared by Alma herself. The property itself is also beautiful. There’s no air conditioning (like most places) but being able to open the doors to the bedroom at night (taking care to not have the lights on to attract bugs) was sublime. We had a great breeze and the ocean air made sleeping feel like you were on your own little beach. Along with the property, there’s a small pier (dock? deck?) that adjoins the property with two beach chairs for guest use. Sitting outside with a small beverage watching the boats go by was a highlight of our trip. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing vacation in Croatia.
