Excellent stay. The resort is big and has excellent facilities. From the moment we checked in staff were friendly and very helpful. Even got an upgrade which was amazing, as the terrace views were stunning and the kids had a bigger space to enjoy outdoors. The sports centre is great, the gym has lots of equipment to get a decent workout and it’s never to busy that you can’t get on one of the machines. The football pitch was our main base as our son loves football so it’s great to have this in the hotel and also the games room with the pS games, to lounge for a bit after a good workout on sports centre. Thank you for making this a memorable stay. We would thoroughly recommend it and hope to be back again soon.

The property and ground are extremely beautiful. Staff is very courteous and hospitable. We had problems with our air conditioners during our first night, and they changed our rooms to another residence promptly and with really good service. The restaurants in the property are top notch food, particularly Veranda.

Amazing hotel, great food friendly staff, clean. Perfect holiday for any age. 3 large pools with bars 2 with children’s pool, plenty of sun beds ect. Pebbled beach with sun beds & bar just a short walk down from the hotel. 5 restaurants all different. Wonderful Spa. Great breakfast choices. Lovely bar in the hotel & amazing views. Shops, supermarket children’s clubs & much more. Nothing is too much trouble. My husband & I had an amazing holiday.

The hotel was superb in almost aspects, excellent restaurants and feeling of space around the pools and the beautiful beach. The only negatives were: 1) We shared the hotel with a large conference and breakfast was extremely busy and I would have expected that the delegates could have taken breakfast in a separate area and not in the same area as the regular holidaymakers. 2) The offerings for lunch were a little limited and it would have been good to have had a little more seating around the pools where snacks could have been had on plates rather than in boxes.

A fabulous resort with amazing rooms and facilities. The spa and sports facilities are excellent and the beach and pools are immaculate. There was something for everyone. The staff were so friendly and helpful, service at its best and the Croatian culture is very warm, kind and friendly. On site facilities such as the spa and restaurants were expensive but of a high quality. We had a wonderful stay, thank you.

We had a lovely stay at Sun Gardens which we chose mainly for the resort style stay, whilst being able to get into Dubrovnik for a day visit. We arrived by ferry from Korcula and arranged a transfer to the hotel ahead of time which worked seamlessly. Check in great and efficient and we were upgraded to a 2-bedroom residence which was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated! The resort is HUGE, and we got a golf buggy to the room with our luggage. The residence was very large and really well equipped, very clean and modern. The pools were very nice, there were two outdoor pools available to us with our 5-year old. Both had pool bars and food available. Service was great. Prices were a little inflated but actually not crazy in comparison to town and other places we visited. There were a few things round the pool which could do with a bit of maintenance - one of the paddling pools was empty and the fountains and bubbles weren't working which was a shame. Also, the floor of the pool area was incredibly slippery and quite dangerous if bare foot. There were a number of dining options, but we found that all but one were too fussy and too expensive, especially if dining with children. The pizza / pasta restaurant was the only one really suitable so we ate there twice out of three evenings. We went to the Saturday night party with Asian food which we would highly recommend. The food was lovely. Overall a fab stay and we would definitely come back!

A piece of paradise
I would recommend sun gardens. It was enormous which was a little overwhelming at first. Adult pool great with our teens, sports centre excellent especially in the heat. John Barnes was coaching footie when we were there which was fab, Only down side was lots of steps 113 to our room! and restaurants expensive thought the steak one was great for a last night treat! Concierge really helpful! 20 mins from old town Dubrovnik which was 20 euros in uber and absolutely magical!

Everything was wonderful at Sun Gardens, the staff, the restaurants, the views!! You cannot walk to anywhere outside of the hotel, which for us was unfortunate, always having to take taxis but there is plenty to do within the hotel & there are shuttle services to Dubrovnik throughout the day. The pool & beach areas are all great! All in all we loved staying here

Beautiful scenery, lots of restaurants that served delicious food, staff very cordial, parking included and the rooms were spacious, clean and big. Would highly recommend Sun Gardens Hotel Dubrovnik. All staff were so courteous and helpful. They arranged transport when needed, recommended restaurants outside the resort that were not far from the hotel that served great food. Views from the hotel are amazing and made for a very relaxing stay. We took a shuttle boat to Old Dubrovnik town which gave some great views of the coastline and islands. Spa experience was so relaxing and facilities had a lot to offer. Having a full body massage was a great start to the holiday.

You can get everything you want in this resort. Good restaurants, spa, few shops, grocery market, and other facilities (inc 3 different swimming pool), even you can swim in real Adriatic Sea. Rooms were huge, have small kitchen you can cook. The resort has several event something like fire show, cocktail night..! So sad we stayed in the resort only for 2 days. We probably will visit there someday again. Only thing you need to consider is .. it is a bit far from the town (15-20mins by drive). I can say it is worthy for the price. Thank you for great customer service too :)

Nice hotel with great facilities, located in a beautiful, mountainous and scenic area. We hired a car and drove into Dubrovnik a few times which worked well. Hotel isn’t the cheapest for food and drinks but not extortionate and to be honest, broadly in line with expectations given it’s a 5* hotel.

Our first time in Croatia and did not know what to expect and Sun Gardens was beyond our expectations. This is a luxury resort and everything was of the highest standard from the food in the various restaurants to the high level of service from all the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. The room was superb and we were given an upgrade on arrival, comfy room with a great bathroom with a luxury feel. The views from the resort our fantastic, a choice of swimming pools and even a private beach area. Will definitely be coming back and I cannot recommend more highly
