Great place to stay, but hard to find

Posted 06-Oct-2016
Pros: the location is wonderful in old town
Cons: No lift. we had heavy suitcases to drag up and down 3 flights of narrow stairs. Also, since we don't travel with our cell phones.
Great location in old town. Nothing better than waking up to the smell of Pizza.

The room is in a good location inside the old city. Very small room which was fine since we were out walking mostly. In the evening and morning the bathroom took on a disgusting garlicky sewage smell that permiated the room. We had to keep the door to bathroom shut and hold our breath. Maybe bad pipes due to age or something off from the pizza place downstairs? It was gross. Otherwise room was basic and fine.

Wonderful hotel in the centre of the Old Town

Posted 25-Sep-2016
Pros: We particularly liked the warm greeting on our arrival. We were given guides about where to visit and eat in Dubrovnik and an annotated map.
Cons: Roko house was slightly difficult to find initially! It is located above a pizza restaurant but is not clearly signposted- we had to ask around!
Location: The location couldn't get any better. It is a minute from the main street and located nearby to all the best restaurants.
My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the smaller rooms available at Roko house for 5 nights in late September and we were extremely satisfied with our stay. As students, we were looking at a reasonably priced place and we felt as if our room was excellent value for money. The room itself was stylishly decorated, with a small kitchen area in the corner and a good-sized bathroom. We were provided with fresh towels daily. Air conditioning, fast wifi, a range of TV channels all made our stay more comfortable. Roko house is located in the centre of Dubrovnik's Old Town so makes it an ideal place for exploring the beautiful surroundings. This does of course mean that getting an early night can be a challenge, but the windows successfully blot out most of the outside noises.

Ideal Location and Comfortable

Posted 10-Aug-2016
Pros: Our bathroom amenities were new and modern!
Cons: Perhaps a little more floor space - tight for two people.
Location: Central to Old Town; walking distance to Banje Beach and Fort Lovrijenac as well as multiple restaurants, convenience stores and a night club!
This hotel was ideally located in Old Town, above a restaurant with fantastic cuisine. I was surprised at how dark and quiet the room was being upstairs! It was beautifully decorated, with ample natural light and mirror space.

Good location

Posted 12-Jul-2016 on Wotif
This place has an excellent location as you are right in the heart of old town. Lots of restaurants below to eat at, however, these restaurants do get very loud at night and can keep you awake. The room was small but if you don't have too much luggage, it has all that is required. The bigger rooms are equipped with fridges but the smaller rooms are not.

Excellent location

Pros: Excellent location within the old city walls of Dubrovnik. Although small the room was very clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable.
Cons: The WIFI at times wasn't working and there was one night where the air con wouldn't switch on. This seemed to be fine the next morning.
Location: Central location right in the heart of Dubrovnik's old town. All sights are within walking distance as well as numerous restaurants.
We stayed at Roko House for 4 nights in June 2016, chosen based on online reviews and for the location within Dubrovnik. We arrived one hour before the usual check in time but were pleased to find that our room was ready. We were greeted by a lovely lady who spent time giving us useful suggestions on what to do and restaurant recommendations. Our room was small with a double bed and small kitchen area but was perfect for our needs. Roko house is situated above a pizza restaurant in a busy street, however with the windows closed we were not bothered by the street noise. The location was perfect for us to explore Dubrovnik.

Lovely room in the old town - full of character

Perfect room for a short break in the old town. Even with a small rooftop terrace. And our host could not have been more hospitable. Thoroughly recommended.

Beautiful sunset rooftop

Posted 11-Jun-2016 on Hotels
The apartment is located right in the old town near the fountain. No stare that need to claim like almost other apartment in the old town. Love the comfort and room decor. One small thing is just little noisy because of the restaurant downstair but we didnt mind too much as the restaurant is closed at 11pm. The apartment has a beautiful rooftop that can see the sunset. Buy your own beer and enjoy sunset here. Cheers.
