Great location, completely charming apt., beautiful city. Apt. was clean, comfortable, perfect. Ivana and Stijepo were super easy to communicate with. Stijepo, who met me there the day I got to Dubrovnik, was really friendly, accommodating, helpful. A great experience. No complaints whatsoever. I'd love to go back and stay there again.

Great location, helpful hosts
This apartment is conveniently located in the quieter side of the Old Town, but within easy walking distance of all main sights and attractions. This cosy apartment provided a great base for a city break. Stijepo and Ivana are experienced hosts who helped us plan beforehand and then make the most of our stay in this beautiful city.

Definitely would recommend!
I was really happy with this apartment! It was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and at the top of a really pretty street. Lots of people kept stopping to take pictures at the top and we found ourselves hanging out there also. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed at an affordable price. I found myself missing it as we continued traveling. Stijepo was very welcoming with lots of good information when we first arrived. I would definitely stay here again.

It was great being in the old town. Be prepared. The pedestrian only city means carrying your luggage in and out with a lot of stairs.

Ivana and Stijepo were incredible hosts. From the booking to the arrival they were constantly in touch to make sure I get to their apartment in the old town of Dubrovnik. Stijepo picked me up at the gate and gave me a wonderful tour of the old town on the way to the apartment. I left earlier the next morning, but had to return to the apartment because I had lost my phone. Stijepo was so helpful trying to find the phone, even so he expected another guest later that day. The apartment has all the necessities and you are in an amazing location in the heart of the old town. If you are heading to Dubrovnik, you cannot find more welcoming, kind and helpful people than Ivana and Stijepo. Thank you very much for your kindness!

Amazing days in Dubrovnik
It was a great location to explore old Dubrovnik and surrounds. Our host gave us a warm and friendly reception and helpful information about the area and best places to visit and eat - though the apartment was equipped with a hob and microwave, kettle and coffee maker. Nothing was too much trouble and they checked by email that we had all we needed. This apartment is not suitable for people who struggle with steps, there are lots of them!

Yes, our beautiful city is not good for the guests who are not ready for the steps and also for the guests who don`t like to walk. Old city is walking zone without cars where we have lot of steps in the every street and they keep us is the good condition.

The apartment experience was excellent. It was well located exactly as advertised and the owner was terrific. He provided us with luggage transport help, great suggestions for sightseeing and truly memorable restaurant adventures. We would certainly return and also recommend the vacation rental to friends.

Modest apartment in a stellar location
The location of this apartment could not be better. You climb many steps to get there, but you are close to everything and it could not be prettier. The apartment is sweet, but very basic. Charm, no glamor. Very helpful hosts.

Beautiful spacious home right in he center
I would highly recommend this apartment. It is located in the most beautiful street in old town. Very spaceous and clean. Quiet yet close to everything. The host was incredibly helpful and gave us great tips.

Awesome stay
Stijepo met us outside of city and showed us apartment. He gave us a quick tour on the way and also sat down and showed us great places to visit along with good tips about the city. The apartment was clean, beds were comfortable, and shower was great. Easy walking distance to everything in the city. Beaches were a bit longer walk but easily done for anyone in reasonable shape. We loved this city and loved being on one of the most picturesque avenues (everyone stopped to take a pictures of our little avenue). Lots of steps throughout the city including to and from apartment, was not a problem for us but could be something to consider for some

77 steps to get there
Nice place but it was noisy. Also not very accesible sinece there was 77 stairs to climb in order to get there. Very hard to drag luggage to the appartment

Hello Thanks for your review but we are sorry that you didn`t put your name. It is a first time that we have so bad ranting We rent studio apartment more than 20 years and it is first time that guest said that was noisy in our quite and one of the most beautiful streets in Dubrovnik. Guests who come in Dubrovnik have to know that accommodation on the main street is very expensive. High price is not problem. Bigger problem is noise because bars and restaurants can work till 2 a.m. but if you take accommodation in the streets on the left side we have steps but it is much quite. Guests have to know that we don`t have perfect accommodation inside of the city walls and that we have steps on the city wall, in museums... everywhere. It is good for healt. In another hand we are happy that were satisfied with our studio apartment. How you said ´´´nice place´´ Dubrovnik is not city for the guests who don`t like to walk because inside of the city walls we don`t have cars, not public transport, elevators... Please next time take hotel out of the old city but you will not feel how it looks life inside of the city walls and definitely price will not be 80 Euros than 300 Euros and more.

Overall amazing apartment with great location and host! Unfortunately the amount of hot water for showers was quite limited and the shower space was very small.

Yes, we have boiler for hot water in the all houses inside of the city walls and we have some limit with hot water. It is not possible to make shower so long as in the houses with gas. Great place to stay
The owner Stijepo was wonderfully helpful--let us check in early, carried our luggage from another apartment in Dubrovnik, gave us a map and made good suggestions of things to do and see. He also carried our luggage to the bus stop when we left at 7 am. The room was wonderfully clean and organized.

A quiet retreat, a long climb
Simple studio apartment with mini-kitchen in Dubrovnik Old Town. Far from the madding crowd of tourists that clog the inner city every day. Only downside is that there are 105 stone steps to climb to reach the apartment.

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay in our simple studio apartment which is located inside of the city walls. It was big compliment that you decided to stay last day before your depart in our accommodation after the luxury cruise on the one of the most beautiful boat in the world. We are really sorry that you didn`t recognize service what we provided to you. Stijepo was waiting for your group in the luxury hotel Argentina where is the night from 300 Euros and more. He helped you becuse you had three big luggage to the old city. Believe us any hotel don`t offer that service, carring the luggage all around the city for guests who stay one night and for price of 80 Euros in the simple studio apartment. Yes, we have lot of steps everywhere inside of the city walls but everything is deppend from which street you go to the our studio apartment. That we have known that you have problem with knee we definitelly reccommened that you don`t take accommodation inside of the city walls. In that casse it is better to take hotel but price is min five times higer. Best regards Ivana and Stijepo

Beautiful town, great hosts
Flew in late and took the bus to Old Town. Stijepo met the bus and took us to our apartment, giving us a grand tour on the way. Sat down with us and went over places to go, things to see. Also arranged bus for us to go to Split (rode to station and got tickets for us). Great host and location great - quiet, yet close to action. Have to take a few stairs to get to apartment.

The host was exceptionally welcoming, friendly and helpful, meeting me from the airport shuttle; providing a lot of useful information and assistance regarding Dubrovnik, surrounding areas and transport to other places in Croatia. The apartment was in a lovely old part of the city (although not suited to people for whom climbing steps would be difficult), lots of character, clean, comfortable, all equipment and facilities were provided. A delightful place to stay in a beautiful city.

Great spot! Great owners!
Me and my husband stayed here while in Dubrovnik. Before we left canada the hotel had contacted us to set up our pick up from the airport. This was great! Once arriving at the city walls we were greeted by the owner who we will call Steven because I don't know the exact spelling of his name. He was amazing. While walking to the hotel he gave us a bit of a tour; where to eat, what to see, exc. He also carried all our luggage the whole time despite our attempts to carry the luggage. He was great. We did not have any problems while in the city luckily so we didn't need to call him again for anything but I'm sure if we had any problems he would have assisted immediately. The apartment itself has everything you need, you don't spend that much time in your room anyway. The best part is its location, exactly where you want to stay in the old city. We would definitely stay here again when we return to the city.

Fabulous location and very helpful owner
This is a very good apartment. It is small but it does have what you need. Maybe lacks a comfy seat as, apart from the kitchen chairs there is no where to sit with the beds in the middle of the room and not against a wall. Wardrobe is a little dodgy to open as well ;-). Having said that it still has everything necessary for a good few days in Dubrovnik and you couldn't be more central for everything. Yes there are a lot of steps to the apartment (we counted 105 from the main Strada) but they are easy to do and you just have to take your time and admire the view and lovely narrow streets. Stijepo the owner could not be more friendly, meeting you off the airport bus, carrying your luggage and showing you the major sites so that you can get your bearings. Also provides advise on the best places to eat and times to visit the attractions.

Experience the walled city from inside
Our host Stephan was the ultimate innkeeper! From meeting us at the bus,to dragging our luggage along cobble stones, to orienting and recommending itineraries, to making a special trip to obtain bus tickets for the next leg of our trip, to providing a selection of drinks,snacks and sundries. He was so inspiring with his recall of his teenage years and his patriotism to Croatia. First impressions are definitely lasting. The 1575 accommodations were clean, comfortable and memorable. Folks with access issues should inquire.

Fantastic apartment. Great location.
We were met at the city gate and were given a wonderful introduction to the old city (and help carrying our luggage). The city itself is just beautiful and we had a great time exploring the area - and ate at superb eateries. Can't fault the location. Shower was a bit small and leaked, and beds were a bit rustic - however these small issues were minor in comparison to the advantages of having a small kitchen and the overall vibe of the apartment/area!!

Our host was amazing - meeting us at the front gates of Old Town, giving us a tour and recommendations regarding local sites and restaurants, and making us feel at home. The apartment is located on a beautiful side alley with all the local charm Dubrovnik has to offer. If we are lucky enough to return to this area we would not consider going anywhere other than Apartment Dubrovnik Centre.

Amazing Service, Charming Apartment
The apartment is in a great location within the old city walls of Dubrovnik and is very clean and charming. The best part of the experience, however, is the unparalleled service provided by the owners: we were met at the port, treated to coffee, shown around the city, allowed to leave our luggage... I would recommend this apartment to everyone!

5* service in a great location
From the moment we were met from the airport bus by the owner Stijepo we knew we had made the perfect choice. He gave us a tour of the city pointing out the many important historical sights as we walked to the apartment. His recommendations for restaurants were spot on, and helped us to check the bus schedule for when we would leave 2 days later for Split. My husband and I have travelled widely, but the service and genuine passion expressed by the owner for his home town was infectious. We loved Dubrovnik, and would highly recommend this apartment to future guests.

Great location!
Just a 5 minute walk from the main street. The owner did a great job of meeting me at the outside of the old city to take me to the apartment. Otherwise I don't think I could have found it on my own. It was easy to find later though. A kitchen with stove and refrigerator as well!

Great experience due to host, Stijepo, a wonderful guide and readily available for information via email. The well equiped apartment is located in a beautiful neighborhood-away from the bustle of daily influx of visitors. Sitting on the steps outside the apartment, listening to the opera singer, practicing in the music school, was a high point! CIty is the cleanest we have experienced, including our home city, Seattle. DIning very good and inexpensive-great seafood selections. LOTS OF STEPS! TRUE ELEVATION CHALLENGE. Lots to do and experience hand in the city, plus wonderful day trips. Best in the Mediterranean! F & S Seattle

Great location
I stayed three nights at the apartment. It was small, but clean and a great location. It was nice to have someone meet you and help you with your luggage. He pointed out all the sights and gave tips on where to go and eat. He is very friendly and I would recommend staying here. There are a few drawbacks one should be aware of, the biggest being having to carry your luggage outside the city (plan accordingly) and a very small hot water heater. As an American, I'm used to a longer shower. But it was a wonderful experience and I would stay again.

Cosy apartment, well located with fantastic owner
The apartment is cosy, clean & has everything you'd need for a few days break and the location was perfect, in the old town down a beautiful street close to everything but far enough away not to have any noise at night, but for us the best thing about the apartment was the owner Stijepo. He met us at the bus stop and carried my heavy bag through town giving us a tour and showing us the best places to eat, supermarkets, bakery etc. He also gave us fantastic tips on how to avoid the cruise ship crowds & ideas for trips. Dubrovnik is a brilliant city, but I really think Stijepo's tips and recommendation made the visit even more special than it would have been. Highly recommended.

The accommodation was great, it was clean and at the heart of Dubrovnik. The street is beautiful and provides a nice view over Dubrovnik. The apartment is more spacious then it looks on the pictures.

정말 최고. 친절함과 깨끗함.
우선 두브로브니크의 특성상 어느 정도의 계단은 감수하셔야합니다. 그것 말고는 정말 완벽했던 숙소였어요. 하지만 도착해서 미리 연락만 드리면 마중까지 나와주십니다. 캐리어 걱정 안하셔도 되요. 그런데 저는 메일 확인을 미처 하지 못해서 그 도움은 받지 못했었는데 제 실수였음에도 어찌나 미안해하시던지ㅠㅠ 아직도 생생합니다. 억지 친절함이 아닌 동네 이웃처럼 대해주셨던 감사한 주인아저씨 그리고 처음 연락이 엇갈려서 발을 동동 굴리고 있을때 바로 앞에 사시던 이웃 아저씨! 주인아저씨와 친구라며 본인 폰으로 직접 전화연결도 해주시고ㅠㅠ 여행기간 동안 만날때마다 웃으며 악수 청해주시던. 체크인하고나서는 주인아저씨에게 두브로브니크 관광에 대한 설명을 들으면서도 얼마나 유쾌하던지 웃음소리가 끊이질 않았어요. 여행을 온 저희보다 더 신나하시면서 두브로브니크에 대한 애정을 넘치도록 느낄 수 있었습니다. 룸도 얼마나 깨끗하던지. 욕실도 마찬가지구요. 냉장고에 생수도 넣어주시고. 여행의 첫 시작부터 정말 기분좋은 시간이었습니다. 그래서 더 기억에 남았던 두브로브니크의 낮과 밤이 너무너무 그립네요. 언젠가 또 여행을 간다면 고민없이 이곳에 방문할 예정입니다. 감사합니다.^^
