This rental unit represents great choice for 2 families, one large family or a group of friends looking for a comfortable place to stay in a calm area and not to far from Dubrovnik downtown. This cascade house speeds over two floors. Floors are connected via external staircase. First floor offers spacious furnished front terrace, open space kitchen/living room with dining area, bedroom with queen size bed, bathroom with shower and second sleeping area with queen size bed. Second floor consists of large furnished front terrace, open space kitchen/living room, bathroom with shower, bedroom with queen size bed and second bedroom with single bed. Amenities include: Free WiFi, AC, Cable TV, Terrace, Private parking for 2 cars, Washing Machine, Iron and Ironing Board, Hair Dryer, Full Kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, stove, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker and microwave. Zaton is approximately a 10-15 minute drive from Dubrovnik. The whole area is perfect for swimming since it is located in a closed bay. In Zaton there are several beaches, both sandy/pebbly and rocky. If you are a family with young children then it is better to choose a sandy/pebbly beach. Your little ones will be able to play in the shallows, or learn to swim in the tranquil sea without fear that anything might happen to them. After swimming, you can go to one of the nearby restaurants at the well-known seafood specialties. Grocery shop, bust stop with line to Dubrovnik, ATM, bars and restaurant are all located within a walking distance from the property. It has everything you need including a brilliant a/c unit in each apartment. We brought mosquito coils with us which meant we could enjoy the large terrace in the evening and watch all the boats coming in and out of the bay. As the taxi drivers pointed out there is just one road so you do hear some traffic but not when you are inside/sleeping. As the neighbours are spaced far apart we brought a portable speaker and played our chilled music playlists on the terrace at a low level to mask the traffic which did the trick so overall location/proximity to beaches /restaurants/Dubrovnik/stunning views and plenty of space for all 5 of us made this property perfect for a relaxing family holiday. ##### Heather Y. We are a family of seven who traveled from the United States. We booked our stay knowing the quick drive to Dubrovnik. The location of this house has amazing views. You cannot beat the amazing panoramas. The street is extremely busy. The traffic does die down a bit at night but it is still noisy. Her family enjoyed dinner on the upper level terrace each night. However, the mosquitoes and bugs were unbelievable. Be prepared for many, many bug bites at night -even with bug repellent. The staff was courteous and quick to respond via WhatsApp. We thought no one had stayed at the property for awhile. There were lots of spider webs on the corners of each room and along the baseboards. New appliances (my hubby had to complete the dishwasher install) were a plus.
