Proximity to airport and shopping great. Rooms are average, but very clean. Staff was great and helpful. Would recommend for an overnight stay heading out of Ireland, or for those who arrive in Ireland at an awkward time.

The staff are amazing, the property was a bit run down. We only stay there as a quick stop it was ok for only one day.

Wonderful Experience, Great Staff, Great Room
Wonderful two Polish ladies went out of their way to find me a handicap room hours before check in time! They were so pleasant to communicate with, I felt as though they were welcoming me Home! I’d highly recommend the staff @ Travelodge, only wish I had bought the nice ladies a Christmas gift.

2 night Stay
The room was beautifully clean, the staff were fantastic and helpful. We were over for a family funeral, and the hotel organised taxis for us, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were cold on arrival, but staff showed us how to turn the heating up, so our rooms were lovely and warm for the rest of our stay.

No shuttle bus from airport, had to get a taxi there and back to airport next day. Better to stay in hotel with good shuttle bus service. Saves lot of hassle.

The handicap facilities in the room were wonderful the bathroom was very amenable to someone in a wheelchair. The only issue in the bathroom was the lack of any counter space to place toiletries. This was quite an inconvenience as the person in the wheelchair and to carry a backpack and work from the backpack in her lap. Needless to say things got wet. Also no normal toiletries were provided. no Shampoo no conditioner. In the bedroom there is a single chair and no chair under the desk area. There were no drawers anywhere and no area to store suitcases and a wheelchair. The hotel had stopped room service because of covid. This was understandable at the time but by this time normal room service should be resumed. They do every provision for you to hang a door tag to have the room serviced. However the letter that is left on the desk indicates that you should use it only after two days. I know using duvets is a European trait however myself and my wife find them extremely hot. My personal preference is for a simple sheet and a light blanket until the middle of winter. I believe it would be only professional for the hotel to have a small set of light blankets of available for those guests with that preference. This particular Travelodge is located on a busy highway and there was a lot of road noise until late at night. That is offset by it's proximity to the Dublin airport. It takes less than 15 minutes to drive there and that was very handy at checkout time.

Please update the Expedia reference to a free shuttle bus service. The hotel hasn't had this service for awhile. It's not their fault that it's still listed by Expedia as a service.

Close to the airport and this travel lodge has a nice restaurant attached to it. Perfect if you're flying in or out of Dublin.

I was unsure at first after being at Eyre Square Hotel in Galway and the Metropole in Cork.. but.. this has turned out to be a surprise. It’s room is bigger and in better condition than both that I mentioned. Heading home tomorrow but so glad it turned out ok for our last night in Ireland.

Good, but basic.
Hotel was basic but suited our needs as a sleepover before an early morning flight. Staff were not so friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Nice sized bathroom with tub. On site restaurant was welcome as there are no eateries within walking distance. Pricey for the level of this hotel which I would rate as under 3 stars.

I’ve stayed in many places including Travel Lodge UK but I’ve never stayed in a place so dirty and so lacking in decent amenities, it was disgusting. The place needs an upgrade, bathrooms are so old and decrepit it’s beyond any expectation of decency. It’s not a cheap place to stay and I’ve cancelled my 2 further bookings for this month.
