Perfect location to tram For the city centre. Leisure centre could do with being updated but otherwise ok. Break ya axing well worth the charge.

The room that we stayed in had an external extractor fan outside the bedroom window, needless to say, No sleep was had by either of us. We were very dissapointed the hotel must have had other People complaining

The staff made us feel very comfortable food was excellent.The place was clean and tidy this our 2nd time of using this hotel and will do in the future when back in Dublin visiting family.

Pleasant stay at this hotel. Speedy check in lovely big room. Bed was not the most comfortable, but have stayed here before and never had this issue so assume it was a once off.

We had a lovely stay here with family, staff lovely, rooms clean and nice and warm I've been here a few times and I would diffently recommend this hotel it is also handy to the to the tram into the city centre 😊

When cleaning is not a good thing
We were allocated a room with very restricted headspace and more suitable for single occupancy albeit it was a double the room had undergone some deep cleaning and the smell of cleaning agent was overwhelming in the room. When we requested a change of room we were told the hotel was fully booked yet no less than 6 to 8 rooms were available to book online right up to midnight.....

The hotel is fab, only negative is that the roof design is on a sharp slope meaning you have to bend down to slide into the bed, if not you bang your head, which i did on several occasions.

It's dated and needs a lick of paint, the room was small for a twin and was really only fit for a single room, and there is a construction site within a few metres of hotel, staff were fine.

The hotel is well presented and cleanliness is fantastic. Staff very friendly. We used the leisure facilities on arrival which were lovely. Our only complaint would be the tv not working in our room

We had a great stay at the hotel The staff was very friendly and helpful The room was clean, the size of the room is perfect and the bed was very comfortable We booked a room again for our last night in Dublin in 2 days Only thing to improve. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink. And I couldn’t find an electrical outlet in the bathroom

There was no fridge in the room so no way to keep food that required refrigeration. Otherwise, all amenities were clean and nice. Good location close to the metro with easy access to city center. Plenty of parking on location. Clean room and everything we needed for a one-night stay on a long road trip. Would stay again!

The staff were very kind and food in the bar was great. The bed was quite hard and the sheet on it had a hole in it and toilet seat would not stay up. Stay was very enjoyable though.

A very modern building from the outside however full of character with a lot of impressive figurines throughout You might say traditional with wood and brass fittings however in tip top condition Food was absolutely first class and the bar are huge with plenty of seating option Breakfast cooked quickly to order and was really tasty The room was small however as a solo traveller not an issue -

An okay place to stay
Sheldon Park is overall a good hotel. It is not fantastic or amazing or luxurious, but it is perfectly adequate and a good place to stay. The hotel itself is quite dated in its decor and amenities, but if you don't plan on spending much time at your hotel, it isn't a big deal. The biggest drawback about Sheldon Park is its distance from the airport and subsequent cab/Uber fares. Luckily, it is incredibly close (2 minute walk) to the Kylemore LUAS stop, so taking the tram into the city center is easy and cheap. The hotel is also right across the street from a gas station, so snacks and drinks are readily available. If you are traveling on a budget, this is a perfectly fine place to stay.

The place was really cool design. It was a bit dated, but almost like it was supposed to be like that. The shape of the room was cool as well. Only big complaint was the very limited hours at the leisure facility. We would have loved to use the pool, but it closed at 5:30 pm.
