Hôtel en rénovation

Posted 23-Sep-2016

I booked a 2 bed room and they tried to put my sister and I with a single, king size bed. They were willing to change it, but still. The room smelled a bit funny and the hallways smelled strongly like paint. There was scaffolding outside our windows and a very loud club bumping just outside.

Pros: Nice and new, well appointed. The creamed potato at the restaurant was the best I have ever eaten! Would go back just for more of that!!
Cons: On a main road, so noisy but OK if you keep the windows closed. N o AC - I think it will get quite hot in summer.
Location: Nothing much around in terms of activities, but not far from transport into Dublin.
As previously stated this hotel is undergoing renovation and is a long way out of the centre of Dublin - both advantages and disadvantages with that. Good value for money at this time. Not far to walk to LUAS station (although I think maybe a bit further than the 6min advertised - maybe just seem further in the rain!) Our room was well appointed (in the new part of the hotel) but there is only one lift and it was at the far end of the floor, a long walk back to reception when the room keycard didn't work. I'm not sure if when the renovations are finished there may be a lift at both ends.

Very good hotel in Dublin's west.

Pros: The room was big, comfortable and clean. The staff has been very kind, efficient and fast during the operations of check in and check out.
Cons: Some furnitures and stuff are pretty old, but well kept.
Location: It's very close to the M50. In the same complex there are also a restaurant, a discotheque and other amenities for night life lover.
Very good hotel in Dublin's west. It's very close to one of the M50's slip roads. In the same complex there are also a restaurant, a discotheque and other amenities for night life lovers, but the hotel is really quiet.

"Antikes" und modernes Hotel im Industriegebiet

Posted 05-Aug-2016

Great location over a pub right in downtown area.

Great location right over a pub in downtown. Great Irish music in the pub, and nice food. Good location for the ring of Kerry drive, Muckross mansion, and town.
