Nice hotel

Posted 20-Mar-2017
A nice, clean hotel. Very quick efficient staff at check- in and out. Breakfast was very good. A good variety of all options to suit everyone. Room was nice and everything was clean. 10minute walk to tramline Luas which takes you into the city centre. About 15 mins from the airport by taxi. Overall would recommend.

Beautiful Hotel

Posted 05-Mar-2017
The hotel was beautiful with very friendly and welcoming staff, our room, in the new wing was excellent. One slight draw back is the travel time back into Dublin Centre but the hotel was so nice we would not let this stop us staying there again

Nice hotel, good value for nice Suite

Posted 27-Feb-2017
Stayed in a suite. Chose this hotel as staying in the city centre is crazy expensive - could get a suite in the Red Cow Moran for less than a standard room in town. Nice big room, huge bed, breakfast in the room the next morning. Breakfast was nice enough but nothing special. Staff at reception very nice.

uk to dublin

Posted 27-Feb-2017
Pros: The room was big...so were beds
Cons: cards for different taxis....no choice but to ask reception and they had no idea how long to wait....not there fault but a list or something of taxis
Location: nothing to do nearby...except hotel bar/coffee lounge and redcow pub
Great hotel....but very expensive to get taxis to city/temple bar....and trams are a boring 15min walk....ok in summer but not on a cold day.....if your driving lovely hotel

Nice hotel. Remodel actions going on. Quiet.

Posted 29-Dec-2016
The hotel is about a 30 min drive using the train going to downtown. It was quiet. Very enjoyable. We had one issue with one staff member. He was rude. Everyone else was very hospitable. Places to eat nearby. Very close to the train. We stayed during Christmas. Dinner was 90 Euros for each adult. Everything, literally everything else was closed for several days. We didn't have a choice. We were able to get snacks for a few days so we didn't eat anything but that.

WOW unless you're handicapped

Posted 21-Dec-2016
Pros: We all loved how CLEAN the place was.
Cons: Handicap accessible room needs a better location with a more generously-sized shower chair. if you're small, no worries.
Location: Americans will first go to Red Cow Inn by accident thinking it's the hotel-same parking lot. It's a restaurant with entertainment. Hotel has shows too
This hotel was a gem! Even though it was undergoing a face-lift during our visit, OMG was it worth every penny! The staff is incredibly courteous, helpful and KIND. Housekeeping was amazing. Funny hint...check every drawer and door in your room for hidden treasures (hair dryer, coffee and tea kettle, ear plugs...) Soap and shampoo are provided also, but bring conditioner. Tom's Table, the restaurant inside, was delicious for breakfast (hot buffet.) The bar is super cozy and comfy...they pour a great drink and their food was fantastic too. Room service was prompt except for Sunday....too many people ordered breakfast in-room, but normally the food arrives hot and quick. Wonderful bed, btw....really comfortable. It was so comfortable in fact that the construction that began each morning didn't phase us. Our room was on the new wing. Now my Mom's room was on the established side of the hotel. She's in a wheelchair so her room was a handicap accessible room. An extra bed was brought in for my sister and it was just as comfortable as the full size bed. Even though the hotel sign's spotlight was in front of the window, the black-out curtains kept it dark. Okay. And the dinner show located directly below was kinda loud there for awhile one night. Okay. Unfortunately the roll-in shower's chair was too small for use. (We are full-size Americans.) She was a good sport about everything but seriously? Move the light? Improve sound barrier? Install new shower seat? Great hotel otherwise.
