A little gem in Dublin within 4 minutes walk to grafton street area and free parking provided. We were upgraded to a suite, which had a mezzaine bedroom up top - what a treat. Staff very attentive And friendly . Had a fab stay and hope to return soon.

Very convenient location

Posted 21-Nov-2016
Pros: Convenient location, cleanliness, breakfast and staff in general.
Cons: Update to heating system and electrics.
Location: Close to most attractions, we like walking so quite happy to walk around. Local transport from airport very convenient and not expensive.
We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the convenience of being in a good central location which meant we were able to easily walk to all attractions/sites. Including the Aviva stadium for rugby match, NZ All Blacks v Ireland. Only criticism was that the heating in our room did not seem to be working properly so seemed a bit chilly when we returned to our room after day out in the cold. We did bring this matter to the attention of reception and were promised an additional heater but this did not happen. We used the bathroom heater to warm up the room but as it was a fan heater was a bit noisy. As we were only there three nights we gave up! Also the electric plug points in the room were not all working. Think room 35 is in need of an upgrade in respect of heating and electrics. We weren't actually cold, but was cold outside and would have liked it to be a little warmer. Staff all seemed to be very pleasant, especially the girls who served breakfast. Breakfast, we thought, was very good with many good choices. Our room was on the top floor and had double glazing so we had no problem with noise from clubs opposite, it was in winter so did not need windows open. Bed very comfortable so we slept well! Overall happy with our hotel, good value for money, would be happy to stay again and recommend to friends, with some reservations as mentioned.

Mooi hotel met klassieke warme uitstraling.

Pros: De inrichting.
Konden hier ook de Hop on/Hop off kaartjes alvast kopen. Wifi ook aanwezig. Heerlijk ontbijt.

Hotel zentral in Dublin

Posted 05-Nov-2016
Pros: Das Ambiente

Hotel in Dublin

Pros: We liked the character of the building and the Victorian influence .
Cons: A coffee bar available when waiting for taxi.
Location: Close to Grafton Street St Stephens Shopping centre National Concert Hall and supermarkets close by. Near Whelans bar .
Nice friendly staff. Irish breakfast good. No coffee/drinks bar and not allowed to consume own drink. Convenient to Grafton Street and other local areas. Good value for money

Great Hotel

Posted 28-Oct-2016
Location: This hotel is well situated for walking to many of Dublin's sights and the shopping area a only a few blocks away.
This lovely little hotel is a great stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful, making every effort to accommodate all our needs and wishes. We arrived at 10:00 am, well before check-in, but the front desk was unphased, while our rooms were not ready yet, the staff immediately began preparing them. In the meantime we were given directions and information about all of Dublin. The staff secured us tickets to the On and Off bus tour of the city and by the time we returned our luggage was safely in our rooms. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious and filled with plenty of information, ranging from the room service menu to a guide to local restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and well prepared and the lobby was like sitting in your living room, comfortable, spacious and always equipped with water and newspapers. I highly recommend the Harrington and will return as soon as I can.
